Been vaping w/ TC since I got into the Vapor Flask clones in March 2014 except for Egips w/ RBA base on the go. Have a number of DNA200s now and have wanted a really good TC all in one for literally years. Thought I might find that in Nebox but early units were downright dangerous and while later units are much, much better (4 now that I reach past DNA200s to use at times), yet they are are not ideal as they are not firmware upgrade-able and are somewhat unreliable but also now somewhat passable in TC modes. The all-in-ones are the most usable form factor on the go & on the job and I have been on the quest for the perfect one for the longest time. This market segment has the most potential in all of vaping when we finally get a proper unit fielded from one of the major manufacturers, but it is also the most improperly understood and largely ignored segment by those same manufacturers. More & more are hitting the market, but just not hitting the mark.Correct, nautilus/Triton mini are compatible/interchangeable with each other. The Plato, at least as of now, does not accept Atlantis/Triton coils. You may like the .4 ohm cletio coil the Plato takes. I dont have the Cletio but everyone seems to like those coils.
Id give it a try. If you dont like it you could sell it on the classifieds here and get most of your money back.
Was really hoping this one could be a contender, but it is starting to seem as if the search will continue for a long time to come. These Cleito coils you speak of are Clapton non TC based so kind of pointless on a TC Mod as far as I'm concerned. Ordered the 0.4 ohm non-TC coils & I'll give them a try, but TC coils last sooooooo much longer and provide much better, cleaner more satisfying flavor once you get used to TC vaping and release the need for burnt organic matter in the vapor cloud stream. Sadly, Joyetech has the ability to field a properly designed all-in-one very easily, but refuses to part ways with the completely inadequate Egrip design (due to airflow and battery life) at this point.
I have tried Atlantis coils in the Supertank KS and they seem respectable but do fall far short of my Aromamizers on a DNA200. Think I could get by with them in TC Mode but it sounds like these Nautilus coils will fall far short of that.
At any rate I will have this in hand within three to four days & run it through its paces for a while prior to making a decision to keep it or not. I will probably keep it under the assumption that PERHAPS they will adapt a chimney to allow the use of the Atlantis coils as well or bring out TC Coils based on this Cleito Subohm design shortly. But really, I ask you, how frigging tough is it to stick some Titanium T1 or Ni200 wire in the coiling machines instead of Kantahal or Clapton wire & run them for a week or two each in preparation of the release of a TC Mod? Why design a mod that works in Ni200 & Titanium modes but not offer coils using those wires as well as the Kanthal ones at the release inside the Starter Kits? What is wrong with this picture? What were they thinking? They have a mod design that allows easy user serviceability and disassembly for cleaning yet with all this battery tray space in there they couldn't try to fit larger Pyrex tube in there to give it 10ml+ capacity with the larger coil design & more with the smaller?
Starting to think I'll need to take this apart, buy an Evolv DNA75 chip, get the top display screen from the Liqua Qube, rip apart a Nebox and install the coil base & threading from that, get a 22mm Pyrex Tube long enough to make up the difference with custom seals while soldering a new chimney together using the top threading chimney mount of an Egrip VT & cobble my own unit together from from these pieces in order to find something even close to what I am looking for from an all in one mod. Be the most expensive unit ever made but would come lot closer than anything I am currently seeing in the marketplace.
My apologies all for this rant, but I am disappointed at realizing that this is in all probability yet another device I have spent money on that will fall far short of my hopes for and all-in-one that meets my needs.
Rant over. Sorry for that. Carry on.
