I am curious to know what people are doing so far as cleaning of the new Aspire heads. I used 2 heads and rotated them with my T3s. I would simply let the used one sit in bowl of water all day, then at night I would hold with a small pair of pliers and run hot water through them. It would then sit overnight to dry and be used the next morning at fill up. This method seemed to work pretty well for me as I could monitor the flavor wick. After a couple weeks the wicks no longer came back to white and looked burnt. Once this happened I payed attention to how much vapor and taste I was getting from it as to when to throw it out and replace it.

The new aspire heads you can't really see the flavor wicks as well so I am a bit anxious as to how well this method will work. I am not interested in tearing them apart, but am interested in hearing what others are doing.

Did you watch PBusardo's video in the other thread where he disassembles the Aspire heads. Doesn't look like without taking them apart normal soaking or rinsing would do much good. Also I might be a little leery about soaking them in anything alcohol based because of the silicone seal where it meets the air stem.

Are your heads not lasting long enough? Or is this an issue with changing flavors?

The way I'm looking at it is, if the heads are $3.00, and last about 3 weeks, that comes down to 17 cents a day. That's less than the price of a single analog in most cases.

I know money is money, just curious if the issue is changing flavors, or the heads dying too soon?

Seems kind of silly to me to spend 20 minutes trying to repair something to save less than a quarter a day.
