Cleaning T3 Heads. Does it make a difference?

I tried cleaning some of my old T3 heads by soaking them in vodka, rinsing them with water and doing a dry burn on my X2. They then performed little, if any, better then before. Is it worthwhile cleaning T3 heads? Is there another approach I should take?

I have found that a better way is to take the air tube off and out them in a cup of water and drop a polident denture cleaner in. It's gets them really clean and removes most of the gunk. Then you can do a quick dry burn of you want
