Aspire K10 flooding/gurgling

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum so hello.


I found it looking for a solution to my Aspire K10 flooding with certain liquids.

I recently bought Cuttwood Sugar Bear but every time I've tried to use it, it sounds flooded.

Apparently it is 60% VG which I think is more than I normally use and I don't know what's wrong..

I used a brand new tank and also an older one, didn't put drops in the coil, just let it soak through so can't understand why.

To fix it I tried drying it out, blowing through to dry it then putting the tank back on but still.

For info I use a battery that goes up to 4.8V but usually around 4V and the coil is 1.8 ohms.

Can anyone help?

Those coils are notorious for flooding. If you have the materials/skills to rebuild, Rip Trippers has a YouTube video on how to build them better. Other than that, tank the tank off leaving the base and coil attached to the battery and pule it to burn off the excess juice. Don't over do it. You can burn the cotton very easily.

It's the first time I've had a problem in about 10 coils.

Do you think it's anything to do with the higher VG content, or should I just up the voltage, suck less etc?

Higher VG should give you dry hits, not flooding. It's thicker juice and doesn't soak in to the wick as fast. Those BVC coils are a lot better than Kanger ProTank coils, but you still get a dud once in a while. Here's a link to a how-to on rebuilding the coil to make it better (and save money!!!).
