I use a mini nautilus with 1.6ohm atomizers, an Aspire VV+ battery and liquid from the UK Ecig Store's the one juice liquid range at 1.2% nicotine. I have been using this setup for around 6 months now and it has been perfect until about a week ago, it has started not producing vapour, so even when fully charged it will take about 5 puffs to stop producing any vapour and over those 5 puffs it is like it is going through the motions of running out of battery if that makes sense. I know the battery isn't faulty because if I then unscrew the tank from the battery and press the button then it works perfectly and if I put other tanks on then it works perfectly. I have tried giving it a complete clean and using atomizers from different packs incase one pack had faulty atomzers. Oh and I use the battery on 4.3 volts (the twisty bit at the bottom, I think thats volts) and have the airhole as open as it can be. I hope this makes sense, I am not the best at describing things, would be great if any more experienced users have any ideas of what could be wrong and how to fix the problem.

Using a sub ohm coil (0.6)
on a stick battery like a twist is not ideal. The battery isn't powerful enough to supply the power that an atomizer under 1 ohm needs.

An upgrade to a 30 watt istick or any device that is made to fire down to a 0.5 ohm atomizer is best. imo.

The coil may now be less than 0.6 ohm and the stick battery's safety features(will not fire under 1 ohm)
may not be working.

Just my thoughts on it. Cheers.

It may just be time for you to get an upgrade on the battery. It could be fine still for months but if it's showing weakness it is likely on it's way out.

An istick 20 or even any regular ego twist type battery should serve you well. For longest run time between charges I'd go for a box mod type battery.

6 months of heavy use (if it is the only one you use) isn't bad for lifespan but if you were to use it in rotation with a new battery it "could" last you a few more. Cheers.

You have got me well puzzled with this one! I'm a Nautilus Mini user myself and at present am running mine at 8 watts with a 1.6ohm coil.

My first thoughts were the same as yours - is the coil a duffer/fake but if you've tried others that seems less likely.

Were it me at this stage - I'd firstly take of the bottom end, take out the coil and check for moisture in the well under the coil and at the bottom of the coil itself, cleaning the thing out with scrunched tissue also checking that the 510 pin has not got pushed in thereby causing a partial circuit problem.

I'd also clean out the threads of the mod and again look at the pin in the screw hole to see it hadn't got pushed down, running a cocktail stick gently round the base of it to remove any gunk.

I'd also then try your friend's battery to see if your atty was OK. If it is then it would suggest your battery was coming to the end of its life

Having tried all that if I got no joy I'd be out of ideas...
