Aspire Nautilus Mini BVC w/Larger Wicking Holes, Stock

That's why I am asking on here. If they have new ones out, they aren't listed any differently at any websites I have seen. The Aspire packaging/blister pack has not changed, but the BVC's themselves have. I hope someone that uses the nautilus BVC's can look and see if they have the larger holes or not. Being as this was a sale, I would figure it would be old stock not new stock...

Are you sure they're not clones of some kind? I know several Chinese e-cig suppliers (which I'll refrain from naming) that sell both the Nautilus tanks and the replacement BVC coils as clones and who aren't afraid to say so. In fact one who I emailed boldly stated that their clones were better than the originals. He's a very nice and forthcoming chap, so I'm prepared to believe him. I've even ordered some to see if he's right :)

Just had to add to this discussion as I recently ordered a 5-pack of BVC Nautilus coil clones and got the OLD style with the smaller juice holes--same size holes as the old BDC. I got them on eBay, so if you're like me and can't stand the dry hits you get from the old style BVC coils with the smaller juice holes, don't order clones from eBay. Instead, get them from sites that describe the coils as having bigger juice holes and use cotton material. I've ordered twice from world of vape and gotten the new style, so I'm sticking with them from now on.: Aspire Nautilus BVC Cotton Coils (Pack of 5) - $10.95 - WORLDofVAPE

Weirdly, the picture at that link shows smaller juice holes (at least at the time I'm writing this), but WOV sells the new ones. Trust me.

I've had no luck with the Aspire coils, regardless of wick hole size. Hot juice spitting is a common issue that I can never seem to overcome fully, regardless of how much or how little I thin my high VG juices. I tried some Kanger 3ml T3S clearomizers the other day, using the new TOCC (T3S organic cotton coil) heads with highly thinned VG juice, but the wicks burnout after about 1/2 a day - regardless of my keeping the damn things constantly wet. Before burning out they produced some really nice vapor for a basic Kanger clearomizer coil. For later model Kanger clearomizers there is also a VOCC (vertical organic coil) coil head available, but I'm fearful these days of juice spitting with any vertical coil. It's been an issue with both the Aspire Nautilus and regular clearomizer BVC heads, though I could've sworn the older Aspire clearomizer BDC heads were just fine - except they aren't available many places anymore. I'm tempted to try out the 1.8 ohm coiled Aspire Triton, but am fearful my results with that vertical coil would be the same as I've had with other Aspire BVC heads of late. Anyone here had any luck with high VG juice in the iLeaf GS Air series of tanks and clearomizers? I've heard good things about them, other than they are generally very "loud".

I use 50/50 in the GS Air - GS Air M - and GS AIr MS. I love these tanks. Yes they are noisy compared to the silent Nautilus Mini.

According to many in the GS Air thread...the newest GS Tank (because of a differently designed AFC) is considerably quieter than the GS Air, GS Air M and GS Air MS.

Eleaf GS Tank

It can take Kanthal, silica, 1.5Ω, dual horizontal coils:

Eleaf GS Air Coils

And...Kanthal, organic cotton, 1.2Ω, single vertical coils:

Eleaf GS Air Coils Organic Cotton - Eleaf Coils - Eleaf - Clearomizers Tanks

And...Ni-200, organic cotton, 0.15Ω, single vertical coils:

Eleaf GS Air TC Coils Organic Cotton (Ni-200)

I'm very interested in the whole temperature control thing now. I just preordered a 75W Pioneer4You IPV D2, which I may not get for another month. The GS Air tank is definitely on my list to try as a Ni-200 coil head topper for the P4Y IPV D2, but there are a lot of other options to try as well. I like the low prices of these eLeaf tanks and coils though, so I'll probably try one of those first (especially since I can try running regular coil heads in it in the meantime).
