Well, it took me a while, but I finally vaped my way through all my ceramic coils. Today, I started out with my first cotton/big hole coil in my nautilus Mini, and it really is good. Great flavor, lots of vapor, no leaking or gurgling, either. I'm stoked on these newer coils.

Ok, ok, I know I've come up with a couple different things, that I THOUGHT  would fix the crazy leaky gurgly NASTINESS  of these coils (large and small holed), but NOW, I've gone through 3 different refills today AND I tried something I'm sure nobody has thought of before .....

Guess what happens when you fill the tank, put it back on your PV and let it sit for a couple/few minutes (yes, just leave it alone ).....IT JUST WORKS. The first couple puffs :vapor: :vapor: are a tad noisy, but after that couple puffs, clears right up. Absolutely no leaking from the air hole, no nastiness from the driptip (oh yeah, I did change from the original to stop that).

I am using 2 Nautilus Mini's with 1.8 coils. 1 coil is large holed, the other is small holed. I have them on iStick 20's, set at 13.5W. My liquid blend is 70/30ish.

I had the opposite problem with getting the smaller hole coils after the first few I got from a diff store had the larger holes. These suck with the smaller holes. Take forever to wick, seem to have tighter draw, and don't last nearly as long. Where can I get the large hole ones again? Also where's a good reputable supplier of cheap 1.6 ohm version?

World Of VAPE. Have not found cheaper prices and seem to carry all the newest Aspire attie coils. Last batch I got in Nautilus and non nautilus were large hole cotton versions. Good luck!

That's why I am asking on here. If they have new ones out, they aren't listed any differently at any websites I have seen. The Aspire packaging/blister pack has not changed, but the BVC's themselves have. I hope someone that uses the Nautilus BVC's can look and see if they have the larger holes or not. Being as this was a sale, I would figure it would be old stock not new stock...

Interesting. I never noticed before, but I just looked, and it turns out I have both kinds. I'm not sure which I got first, though. I rebuild all of them, so I can confirm that they both have the cotton wicks.

I don't know why people are having problems with the new coils. I think people are just getting the first runs of them. Aspire does not make them, but another company does for them. I have not had any problems with them except for one I burnt up while I drank too much and just screwed it in and hit the fire button :/ Other than that no problems. If you have it flooding just blow through the drip tip a few times and catch the juice from the air hole with something. Clears it right up. Don't have the tank too tight or too loose on the base. I do feel as the ceramic lasted longer (which is why it is used in both heating homes and cooking equipment), but since everyone wanted their Organic Cotton they listened to you. To me it seams the cotton gets soggy and carries bad flavors more than the ceramic. You also can't crank it up as much. But, because everyone complained about the ceramic (that you have been breathing and eating for the last 100 years everyday) they made the switch. Either way I am still analog free for 160 days and have saved $2,000!!! and 6.5k smokes I didn't inhale! Long story short the Nautilus Mini on my iStick and Moon Mountain's Cosmo's Custard probably saved my life. Happy Vaping :)

So... i am still al little confused on how to identify a place to get the larger holed replacement BVCs like the ones in the OP picture. mine are all small and crappy for feeding. i have never bought from evape.us or Worldofvape....is there anywhere else that is for sure to be the new biggest holed versions?

The last ones I got from evape.us have the larger hole. A lot of the sites I shop at have it in the description which version you will get. worldofvape has it in their description that they are sending out the large hole version. If it doesn't say large hole then I assume it would be small hole, but that isn't always the case. And just because they sent you one kind before, doesn't mean they'll send you the same version next time. The last time I ordered from mfs, they sent me the small holed, the time before that they sent me the large holed version. If you prefer one version over the other, I'd go by their description, or send them an email (or ask here :))
