True story that.
A haiku, eh?
Goodnight, DB.
"db? This is one of your better angels again. I know a whole slew of jokes and one-liners are going through your head, but this is a classy woman who deserves better. Write her a poem or something."
Meagan, because it's been such an inspiring evening and it's been awhile since I baked a truly awkward cake, enjoy the haiku I wrote just for you:
she don't like vaccines
but she loved penicillin
when it hurt to pee
Guessing this is now even more awkward than the time Katya told me she was a working girl, so I told her while I didn't judge I wasn't paying for the hug, she didn't get that I was intentionally misinterpreting the term working girl for comedic effect, and I got an offended earful.

Hi Meagan,
The cotton coils are indeed from Aspire, you can check them by scratching the backside of them and verifying their authenticity on the aspire website.
Thanks,
Dustin

*looks skyward* "Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do."
So this is interesting, I was just looking at the Melo and realized that eLeaf describes it as Organic Cotton and Glass Fiber Cotton on the site. The vendors that have it for pre-order are all listing the coil as 100% organic cotton.
Someone on Reddit emailed eLeaf and received this response:
Dear friend, Thanks for your email. In fact, we have made a mistake in the description of the coil. This is the fiber cotton, not glass fiber cotton. Hope you can understand and if any problems feel free to contact us. Have a nice day. Best wishes! Wendy Ismoka service
Interesting to note, the website has not been corrected even though this email is from a month ago....the plot thickens...
MELO Atomizer
Soooooooooooooooo....
Glass fiber cotton in Melo coils also?
And what about those wonderful Eleaf GS Air coils? I just got one and I love it. But I can't take a coil head apart--it seems to be press fitted so tight that it won't budge.
Eleaf iSmoka is Joyetech's sister company/subsidiary/whatever... Joyetech e-grip's CS coils are almost identical to GS coils and are, if fact, interchangeable.
Grrrrr...

Have the coils with the bigger holes been confirmed to have cotton?
Nope, I've heard that too and I don't know where it's coming from except that maybe people heard something about cotton, saw the changes in the holes and are conflating the two. My source for this is things like this:
Aspire Support: •View topic - Different revisions of BVC coils?
That's one of the times they said they were implimenting the change in the factory, but there are other posts of people asking about the new holes before... so stock of BVCs with larger holes definitely predates the switch to cotton as that's just starting to trickle out. The larger holes appear to be a design change to help alleviate dry hits, etc.
I just read a report on another forum that they recieved new coils from Kidney Puncher and they were 100% cotton. None of the crumbly stuff. You might want to check there and see if they confirmed that.
