It's windy, USA
Aspire has built a strong R&D team to research new technology, and new material for better and safer vaping experience. The Atlantis is the panicle of our efforts.

I look forward to their building a strong proofreading team, as that sort of attention to detail about an important issue is exactly what'll inspire trust that they're crossing their i's and dotting their t's.

So basically they're saying they know the ceramic paper is kinda dicey, but if you 1.) don't let it go dry 2.) don't ever dry-burn they're pretty sure it's OK. I trust that screen for spitting, but at it's mesh size, not for knowing no bits of fiber can make it through. And it isn't like coils are always made perfectly and always pull in the amount of liquid to keep things saturated as they should.

And, if you say something like "Well i'm sure it's better than cigarettes" you should take the time to google while these materials are so bad when they get into your lungs and why people who are around then regularly need to wear serious masks to prevent it.

So it is using cotton as well as ceramic, I find nothing wrong with this at all. I find it funny that after 30 years of smoking I spend so much time reading every little small detail about this new found love we call vaping. I also find it a bit ......ed as well that we are so into this nitpicking thing that we blow things out of context. We are also giving the anti vaping folks things to chew on. Now I know health is not a matter to play around with and we do indeed need to keep our eyes on this stuff, but really we are our own worst enemy at times. All we are doing is giving one more thing for people to pick up and roll with in the anti vaping crusade.

What I find disturbing is the fact that for 30 years APD smoker I never even batted an eyelash as to what I was doing, and neither did most of you. Now all of us are all over the place nit picking, while the enemy is at the gates.

53 yrs. smoking here, and NOT ONE TIME did I question what was in the tobacco, paper or filters. While we do not want to go from the frying pan into the fryer AFTER being duped by the tobacco companies and AFTER being duped again by the FDA allowing this posion to stay on the market, I am willing to be the lab rat and betting that Aspire does NOT want to to dissimate their customer base because the potential is so big over the long haul. What sense does it make to kill your customers?

You’re new so I’m not going to jump your case. I did care about what I was inhaling and tried everything to quit. Nothing worked until vaping. I don’t want to inhale something that may cause more damage just because some factory is cutting corners and being cheap. Just because we smoked doesn’t mean everybody gets a free pass to poison or further damage us and anybody that tries to get away with it should be publically called out on it. What are the ANTZ going to complain about, that we successfully self regulate?

Missing the point johnny. The issue we are concerned about is giving the scientific community fuel to use against us.
All we need is for unsafe products to be out there so that the FDA can say "SEE, we told you so".

I agree with your point, but also consider this is going to be used against us so a double edged sword it is my friend.

I also think some people are confusing asbestos with ceramic and this is not the case. As for dry burning who dry burns with cotton? Or Rayon or any other thing besides silica wick? This is simple common sense, yet we again take the ceramic, confuse it with asbestos and have a long discussion about it giving them more then ample fuel.

We are creaming ourselves like this, everything is bad thing.

I'm just bewildered at the blatant misinformation in the post linked in the Reddit link I posted. VJoe Canada got it so wrong about the construction of the Atlantis coils and had no issue declaring them a significant health hazard. I think a retraction of their post and an apology to Aspire for spreading misinformation is in order. But that'll never happen.

As long as they could keep hooking more in, why should they care?

Self regulate with hysteria? Based on what facts do you bring forth that this is so bad that you don't want someone cutting corners? Conjecture? Yea I smoked and knew it was bad, and I tried everything too, no luck same as you. But I did not obsess over it and make things up, things I had no clue about. I did not have paranoia about it. I knew it was bad for me, I knew it was killing me. No one smokes for 30 years and does not know.

Jimi's Vaping Agenda

Nicotine made and bottled in a European lab

Humectants that are made in the USA, that are tested on a daily basis

European Flavoring

European silica, that has a very high temperature tolerance

Stainless steel atomizers that contain no rubber or plastic pieces ( that would melt from a heated coil)

This is the best I can do for the cleanest vape possible. Is it completely safe ? I doubt it. Clean air in the Swiss Alps may be the safest. I just feel better knowing what I vape along with my beloved family :)

I wasn't just talking about this one incident. Perhaps we should just avoid warning anybody about anything that can go wrong with vaping lest we look hysterical and give the ANTZ fodder.
