Aspire scratch code - works on one site, but not the other?

Hi.
I've finally sourced some aspire mini triton ni-200 coils.
I checked the authenticity code at aspirecig.com and it said 'not valid, beware counterfeits!!'

Then confused, I went to aspire-uk.net (the purported official UK site)
Here the authenticity checker said the product was 'valid congratulations!!! Thanks e.tc'

How come there's s discrepancy between the two sites?
I've always used aspire-uk.net to check the authenticity/scratch code. This was the first time I went to aspirecig.com

I typed the exact code in both sites.
I'm Confused..
Can someone tell me what's up?

I would say it's possible that someone used the scratch off code at Aspire's site but sold again (maybe across the pond) thinking that the code wouldn't have been checked on the UK site yet, and unless they are linked, I am not sure that the code would be removed on the other site, unless they ARE linked?

That's all I got, anyway. Sounds like a bit of a mystery. If there's a way to contact either site you might ask if that could be the case?

I've contacted aspirecig.com. but no reply so far.
It is a bit puzzling. Aspire-uk.net state that they're the official UK site.. but now I'm wandering...
I bought the coils in the u.k and scratched the code myself. I don't get it..
Either aspire has messed up. Or there's a clone website selling clones.
I wish I hadn't chucked my old coil out..

Should've expected this. These coils have been a nightmare to get hold of start to finish.

Ahhh figured it out.
On the main website there's now two different authentication boxes.
One for scratch check and immediately above it is the new replacement for scratch check..
I was typing my scratch code into the wrong box.
Mystery solved. Thank f.

One might suppose that coils produced for the UK market would not be "legitimate" products in the US market, hence the scratch code works only on the UK site but not the US one? I don't know, just a guess.
