Fake Aspire Nautilus tanks? Help PLEASE!

I too purchased a nautilus from (most likely) the same shop in Cincinnati. I called them about replacement when I realized that my nautilus did not have the spring on the pin which caused many of the same issues as the OP had. They informed ME that it was fake and they will refund my money. I think it says a lot about the integrity of the shop when they pro-actively let someone know they sold them a fake and will take care of it. They have earned a customer today...

I've misplaced the box my Nautilus came in, so I can't check the serial number. My problem hasn't been with the atomizer, but with heads, many of which don't last but a day or two. I've experienced the good heads that last well over a week.

Lately, my problem has been heads that don't last a day. The failure mode is sudden loss of vapor. When you check the resistance on your mod or with an ohmmeter, it has suddenly gone high. I went through 3 coils day before yesterday that now read 2.9, 4.0, and 7.4. 2 of them lasted a couple of hours and another lasted a day before entering this failure mode. When the low vapor problem starts the head may read 2.4. A few minutes later it will read over 3 ohms. Not long after that it may go to 4 or 5 or as high as 7 ohms.

My Nautilus heads come singly from my B&M. They are in a plastic bag with the head contained in a rectangular bubble pack with the Aspire logo on the foil cover. They don't sell 5 packs at my B&M.

Oh dear, I just pulled the trigger on a great deal on Ebay, 25 coils for $55 with free shipping. I'll be waiting with baited breath.

Good luck. The issue I'm experiencing with resistance rising is a new one. This morning, the one I installed last night started rising in resistance and suddenly read open on my Provari. When I got home I checked it with my ohm meter and it read open there, too. I've switched to my Sigelei Zmax V3 just to confirm that it's not something my Provari is causing. I have no reason to believe the Provari caused it, but it's logical to try it on another mod just to see.

The heads I'm using appear to be genuine Aspire heads in sealed single foil packs that look like the 5 pack, just broken apart for individual sale. They've always worked well outside of the life decreasing from over a week to a single 24 hour period.

I recently just came back from ShenZhen, China. Which is where 99% of the worlds electronic cigarettes are made. What you mentioned about major brands using sub factories producing genuine products is not true. I can guarantee you that. I am now an official company rep for Eigate(Aspire), Innokin, Kamry, Kanger, and SmokTech. For all product information you can contact me directly through here. Because I dont think ECOM allows us to post email addresses.

image.jpgI bought mine from fast tech. It was only around 18 bucks. I just checked the serial number and its legit. I thought for sure it was a fake.

Actually yes it has, here in germany search for it, i cant remember where err what website i seen it. I wouldnt condone on buying clone mods. RDA's RBA's maybe as i cant see paying 75 for a 1:1 you know what i mean? I bought a patriot 1:1 clone to compare to the real thing, only thing they missed was getting the "S" in U.S.A exact :D
But yea everything is being cloned it seems
