I was at the supermarket vaping with my usb passthru connected to a batterypack on my belt and I heard a woman tell her companion, " that man must have asthma and that is a vapor device". Since that day everybody that comes aggressively with the no smoking I reply its an asthma vapor device and they shamefully apologize and I continue peaceably vaping.

I agree, But since most people that complain come at you aggresively with an atitude the asthma device hits them inmediately because if your vaping you must be needing it at that moment and they back off apologizing. I kind of get a kick out of how fast they deflate.
Is this the kind of message we want to send? It just seems that calling the device something it is not continues to cloak vaping with an 'underworld' theme.
Well it isn't a 'smoking' device .......so what do you think it should it be called?
Call it what it is...a personal vaporizer that is helping me to quit smoking tobacco. I agree that slowly moving away from the word 'cigarette' or e-cigarette' will help to remove the stigma associated with tobacco smoking.

Yes ...although lately I have taken to calling it my personal inhalor because I know it makes people automatically think of a medical device and that seems to make them happy.
I agree and I don't always have the time to explain what it really is and respond to the typical remark that you have just gone from one type of smoke to another and having to explain the non harmfull effects of vaping which we don't know for a fact.
