ASTHO and NACCHO to host webinar on Jan 21 (at 3PM eastern time) to urge state and local health officials to lobby for more e-cig usage bans, which protect cigarette markets, deceive people to believe e-cigs are as hazardous as cigarettes, encourage vapers to switch back to cigarettes, and discourage smokers from quitting/switching. To register, go to:
https://cc.readytalk.com/cc/s/registrations/new?cid=2b3x5itog4cm

ASTHO is the Association of State and Territorial Health Officers and NACCHO is the National Association of County and City Health Officers

It would be helpful for vapers to register for the webinar, and to submit questions.

The Public Health Law Center and the other three speakers (from Seattle, Chicago and Minnesota Health Depts) have all lobbied to ban e-cig use by making false and misleading fear mongering claims, and I strongly suspect all are funded by the CDC.

The European experience says it wouldn't Bill, no one but Vapers 'engage' obviously, it's an 'info' gathering ploy-and not very usefull at all.

I disagree. Please note that the e-mail I received with this webinar info was only sent to state and local health departments.

ASTHO and NACCHO don't know that I've posted this on ECF, nor that I've forwarded their e-mail to e-cig advocates.

They may be surprised by questions asked by vapers, and they may not even ask/answer any of them.

But the most effective way to rain on their parade is by tuning in and asking some good questions.
