Went and got a Phoenix clone a while back and I just haven't been able to get a clean circuit with my coils. With a little wiggling and tweaking it'll fire on my egos, but not the MVP (which doesn't have an Ohm meter). MVP just absolutely no dice.
When I screw it (atty and coil) into my PV testing Ohm meter most of the time, if I get a reading, I have to press down on one of the battery posts to make it happen. Then when I put it on one of the Egos it fires (usually with one sharp POP about 50% of the time). Are the POP or POPS on a fresh coil due to unclean current or lack of preburning the nichrome or is that just normal.
The Ohmmeter works fine and easy with mfg'd attys/cartos, so I am sure it's okay.
I have built the most painstakingly pristine coils, but I can't get a consistent result and it's frustrating as hell. I can vape it on the egos but its nerveracking 'cause I am wondering if it's a danger...
Is it possible I have a loose post in the Phoenix? If so, is there a way to fix it or is the Phoenix done for?
HEP me HEP ME pWEEEEEZ!
