Yeah, they used to be the same company. The Gamma is always out of stock when I look.0
The Gamma, Gamma 1.2, and Gamma 1.3 (not sure why they still make the older versions) have all been in stock for a week or so now. I keep looking at the site, but the GEM and an Atty I shall not name are currently atop my list, and I still have a couple attys I haven't even built yet (busy couple weeks).

Roxy, I think you'll Luke the Ataman 2, I have no doubt. It is an easy to build flavor machine

I do seek out the difficult builds these days, but I've been wanting to try it. I have plans to try something different than the builds I've seen so far. It didn't come today, but maybe tomorrow. This will be my first titanium atty, but the Prom 3 is on my to get list after trying the Prom 2 clone and Heron. I do like the Prom better than the Heron.

I missed this thread. I am a huge fan of the Ataman as well. In fact I may be fooling myself but all things being equal I always prefer Ti atty's. They taste brighter to my taste. If you can get your hands on (and have the budget) try the Ataman I. I actually prefer the taste a little bit more on some juices but they are my two favorites. The 1 has the same "deck with the air hole leading to the raised post". On that one a pair of permanently placed mesh wicks runs down from the raised deck to the juice floor and your cotton wick rests against that. No dry hits and very tasty. It has no juice control though. I like their drippers as well.

Ti atty love [emoji106]

Dizzy- Forgot to mention that that is a great video. And I build it the same way. For someone like myself with little skill beyond a basic single or dual coil and cotton wick this one is a no-brainer. Too many atty's require complex builds to get the level of flavor. The Ataman is not one of those.

Here is a little flavorful powerhouse from the other guys - Art of Exhale. I do have to say though that I generally find the quality between the two makers to differ. Alek's stuff on his own is just that little bit better. The ti from Alek's shop has a little bit better ti color and seems to be an iota thicker but who knows.

I always look longingly at the Gamma tank when they go in stock, but I've not been able to bring myself to snag one.

I will make you feel better. I have one. To be honest I haven't fired it up but neither does that one feel as solid as Alek's stuff. Too many o-rings and not enough threads, etc. Maybe I will fire it up and let you know what I think. Here are a few pics. What is interesting is the piece locks down through the connection in a two piece chimney and then the bottom is held in place with an o-ring.

Update on the Gamma from the Art of Exhale. I don't get it. [emoji2] Technology seems flawed. With lock-down of the whole atty through the middle of the chimney rather than the bell or the glass there is no way to adjust juice control. And the atty comes with two pathetic juice holes at the bottom of the bell so virtually no juice gets in. See pics below. The only thing I can think of is to drill out the two juice holes bigger but what a hassle. I have tried long tails, short tails on the wicks and nothing is working. Really too bad since it is very cool looking. If any one knows this atty and I am missing something please chime in.

No reflection on the Ataman though (the original point of the thread) as that is made by Alek not Art of Exhale and all of his stuff (Ataman, Achilles, Prometey, etc.) has been very easy to build and flavorful.
