Update on the Gamma from the Art of Exhale. I don't get it. [emoji2] Technology seems flawed. With lock-down of the whole atty through the middle of the chimney rather than the bell or the glass there is no way to adjust juice control. And the atty comes with two pathetic juice holes at the bottom of the bell so virtually no juice gets in. See pics below. The only thing I can think of is to drill out the two juice holes bigger but what a hassle. I have tried long tails, short tails on the wicks and nothing is working. Really too bad since it is very cool looking. If any one knows this atty and I am missing something please chime in.

No reflection on the Ataman though (the original point of the thread) as that is made by Alek not Art of Exhale and all of his stuff (Ataman, Achilles, Prometey, etc.) has been very easy to build and flavorful.

Oh yikes, before I read the post looked at the pics and saw those dry .... wicks and was like "uh ohhh"

That sucks, I kinda wanted it to kick ...., it's a damn sexy atty. Hopefully something incredibly obvious is just staring at you in the face and the lightbulb will go on and it will rock your world!!!

Curious if the juice holes on the chimney need to line up with anything on the base?

I recently got a Focloud. I did not realize the part with the juice holes on the base was moveable. Everything was fine until I moved it during a wash and rewick. Then yikes! Dry hitting, and I have no idea why. Finally I figured it out and problem solved. Pretty dumb design on that one because why would anyone close them off since it can't be done without taking the base off.

EUREKA! Thanks for everyone's suggestions and I am also officially an idiot. The juice is controlled by leaving an opening between the actual 510 connection and the combined base/bell above it. To allow for more juice flow you effectively unscrew the base from the 510. Pics below. The first is with it closed and no juice flow. The second is allowing for a good amount of juice with only a slight gap.

Open and decent juice flow.

And I did remove the airflow screw on the bottom as well.

Hoky moly, I had a feeling it was going to be something silly and overlooked.

How is it vaping now?

I am going to give it a day. It isn't tasting that great but after my first bonehead conclusion I am going to withhold judgement until I give it a fair chance. I should have known I was missing something.

Well...I've been on the fence for a while on the Ataman RTA...finally decided to get one, thanks to this thread. Enablers!!!

But, question.

I filled everything out, completed all the steps on the Titanium Mods webpage, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to pay. Will I receive another email from them with the Paypal link, or what.

Thanks for any help!

Dems has it right. There is also a Facebook page which provides info on upcoming stuff and occasional specials for members.

And I've now gotten comfortable with the Gamma atty having run two builds with two different flavors and played around with the liquid adjustment. It is flavorful in the same way most Ti atty's are but it isn't IMHO in the same class as either the Ataman 1 or 2. First, the Gamma's fill is a typical flip it over, take it apart and pour without spilling between the chimney and the glass. Both Ataman's are top fill. The Gamma's flavor adjustment below the deck and on top of the 510 is not as effective as the Ataman 2 and a pain in the neck. The Gamma does look cool and I will pull it out from time to time but it does not go into the daily Ti tank rotation.
