What? Hardly. He extended the PMTA deadline by four years and did almost no enforcement of the "no new products after 8/8/16" part of the Deeming. He could have shut down the entire industry on 8/8/18 if he just stuck to the letter of the pre-existing regulations.
Nothing new, but the shift in emphasis, from defeating the scourge of smoking, to combating the evil nicotine, is still fascinating.

Seems as though juul, a problem created by BT and BP is going to be used as a vehicle for the desecration and destruction of vaping in the US using the familiar excuse of what about the children.

BTW - Doesn't the Last Part of the Sentence below pretty much Guarantee that any Regulation/Restrictions placed on e-Cigarette, short of an All Out Ban which is Illegal under the FSTPA, aimed towards limiting Youth Availability are going to be Marginally Effective at best?
