I just tried it this way. First problem I had--when removing tank I ended up unscrewing Diver instead. Juice everywhere.
Cleaned up & put the fill hole up top. Leaky mess.
Cleaned that up & it's back on the bottom.
How do I not unscrew the Diver when removing tank?

In addition to what K suggested, it looks like you have a combination of the Diver bits are not screwed together tight enough with a very tight 510 connection. I have had this happen, I scrubbed both the Diver 510 threads and the mod 510 threads so they would be smooth again. In fact, this just happened with my Spheroid on my Vaporshark, the Spheroid tube started coming off, I had to remove it by pinching the base - and lo and behold, the 510 threads on both Vaporshark and Spheroid were blackened with gunk.
Ok I'm going to give this a try next time I remove it. I refilled earlier today when I created my mess and the tank is still 1/2 full.
