I like a 1.2ohm to 1.5ohm coil. I think that 28awg would be too big to fit the ceramic and 34awg wouldn't yield enough coils to properly vaporize liquid. I too use 32awg A-1 Kanthal and 32awg Nickel. I have some Kanthal A-1 ribbon wire (.5mm x .1mm), but alas, it similarly won't fit to get to my desired resistance. There isn't a lot of room for experimentation with wire (more so with wick), but that's okay - it vapes great and it's easy to use.

I believe Firestorm is correct. IMO, using 32g as the smallest and 30g as the largest (depending on target ohms) then experiment with wick size to find your sweet spot. The Diver is an amazing device and lends itself to many types of builds. It's just a bit of wick and wire, so experiment on....

On my 4th tank with the Diver... VERY nice vaping experience. :) Kinda reminds me of a LR 306 in flavor & vapor production.

I have it in a Siam Mods SS tank topped with a Siam Mods DT. This pic reminds me of a diving helmet or similar nautical apparatus:

Andy we are almost ready, the Scuba must be available this Monday. I also make a ring who makes the Scuba completely outside ss finish.

spook 42: In a few weeks we release the Grail who transform the Diver to dripping atomizer. It can holds almost 18-20 drops.
Also u can transform the Grail to 306 shield, holds 16 drops

Pete54: just put also a spare ceramic

Great, Konstantinos. I am on the "Notify" list for the Scuba, as well.

I am looking forward to the Grail, too, as I love dripping with another Greek made dripping atty on my provari. For me, the Grail will bring the Diver to a full vaping circle. One device with multiple uses in their own separate platforms . . . Perfect!

- Andy . . . Challenge the day.

are you joining them using the square knot method?

Yes, I am using the square knot method, as demonstrated by the Atmistique videos.

Initially, I could not get the knots to cinch up tight enough. However, after a bit of practice and using a small pair of pliers, I was able to get the knots nice and tight.

Twisting the R and NR wires works nicely, as well. When making a twisted R and NR knots, be mindful not to make the knots too long.

yes that was my prob with twisting so I tried the square knot way and my connection is slightly loose but I hope I get better....still works well though

I've had really good performance when I started with two strands of 2mm silica which is what Atmistique recommends. Since then I've moved to Ekowool. I have 2mm hollow Ekowool that seems thicker than 2mm silica. One strand will yield dry hits. I've had mixed results with two strands (trying to shove it in the ceramic), but mostly positive. I think it may be because I was over-filling the tank, but in some cases I couldn't get any juice into the atomizer - I couldn't see air bubbles know matter how hard I dry pulled. I have two tanks with Ekowool that are now working well that I only occasionally have to dry pull and make sure that the hole is submerged in liquid when I puff. I've been trying to cut short wicks that don't get caught in the threading and taking care not to block the juice hole. The Ekowool really frays at the ends so I think that may block air flow, I dunno.

Other impressions, tips, or insight with Ekowool in the Diver are welcome.

I've read that if you torch the ends of Ekowool to red hot it will prevent fraying. I've tried a Bic lighter but it doesn't get hot enough. If you torch the whole wick it will make it less flexible and easier to wrap.
