I don't think the drill bit size should make a difference, I was just mentioning it to be precise. In fact, you should get a slightly narrower coil at 3/32", as the coil loops are a bit wider.

No, I don't think so either, but there are sooo many variables, if I can eliminate one, why not?

I redid the Diver tonight that is in my Scuba. I recently got a Zapper V2, and was playing about with 28g wire, so I knew it would not have a high enough resistance for the BB...came out to 0.8ohm, much lower than I usually do, but it was such a pretty coil, I decided to try it. I put in what looked like too little cotton. So far it's wicking much better, and the airflow is improved. So thanks, Konstantinos for the cotton reminder.l

I'll try the same in a higher resistance tomorrow for my BB

I've seen a thread here in ECF that a guy coiled a dual micro on a Protank. Seems like workable space between the Protanks and this ceramic is almost the same.

More worried bout leaks with these.
