Oh, and Kat...I'm not sure if it is the fault of Giovanni Venturi, or Daniel Bernoulli...I didn't pay that much attention in Fluid Dynamics class...but I would tend to blame the Italians more than the Swiss...

A little bit of both, let's just blame all of Europe to be safe!

As I think I've mentioned on this thread before, I used to work for a Franco-Italian company...it was not uncommon to see this in someone's office in Italy.

Heaven is where the...

Cooks are French,
Mechanics are German,
Police are British,
Lovers are Italian,
And it's all organized by the Swiss

Hell is where the...

And it's all organized by the Italians

Billet Box with Diver v2 using the v1 pin:

Three full tanks, zero leaks, floods or other issues. I had to re-wick once halfway through tank #3, the cotton was toast. When I pulled the tank out, there was a bit of juice on the back of the tank - as Dayloon mentioned above - but I would not have noticed this if I had not pulled out the tank. The BB does this with cartos as well, and it did not have any effect on vape quality or experience. The juice was only on the rear of the tank, the 510 connector area was almost completely dry, just some condensation, as always.

This is now 3 tanks over the weekend, both at home and out and about.

I will continue using with the v1 pin permanently, but I'd like to hear feedback from others using the v1 pin to confirm my results.

I'm having exactly the same results. No problems at all since using the v1 pin in the v2 diver for my billet box. It's a fantastic vape. The juice at the back isn't causing any issues, it's only a bit and I just wanted to make sure it was normal.

OK, so it's only one full tank, but it looks like the v1 pin in the v2 Diver in the BB is the answer. I just finished off a full tank of juice with this setup, and not a drop, not a gurgle.

Well, there was one difference.

I just received a massive order of juices from Ahlusion, including (by accident) two bottles of Maple Dream. I wasn't too impressed with it, as it seemed to have almost no flavor (like I needed another Ahlusion juice addiction). Now, with the v1 pin, and I know this sounds crazy, I'm actually getting quite a bit more flavor out of this juice.

Note: I filled using the fill port.

I'll keep running this setup over the next few days, to see if anything changes.

Are both pins brass by any chance?

All v1 pins are brass. There are two deep grooves in the base, in a cross shape.

The v2 pins can be SS or brass (I think SS is the default when you add to the shopping cart at Atmistique). The v2 has a single, much shallower, wider groove in the base.

Great!

We'll know what is normal when more people have run their setup with the v1 pin. One just left for Texas. but we have two data points showing this to be the case. I don't like to speak too soon and say "Fixed" until we really have tested this, both for length of time and widespread experience from many more users.

If this does turn out to be normal behavior, I would say it is working properly. That tank has to come out every 3 tankfuls so the cotton can be replaced regardless, wiping down a bit of juice from the back of the tank is just 5 seconds of extra work, and no different than unscrewing any other tank from a conventional tube mod to clean out the 510 and get rid of the same excess juice from the collector well.

I dont know what to say i vape with ss pin without a problem . Anyway if the V1 is better for some i will ask to make more V1 pins. Hopefully we are in production now :)

Update: v1 all o-rings (packs of 2mmx1.5mm for the v1 pin and 6mmx1mm for the upper base) left today via USPS, kindly PM me when they are received and please inform me if they change you Diver v1 performance. So far, most recipients who have gotten them have written to say the o-ring fix has solved the leaks completely.

I urge anyone with a V1 to do this upgrade. Not a single leak from the bottom at all.

K, I use joined wires, 30g R, 32g NR. Zapped myself. 1/16”, 2.5 ohm (BB friendly). My tests were on my Provari @ 4.5v in a scuba tank.
