Akdare as we know the greater surface you heat up the greater heat you will have as a result. Now the 32 gage wire has much more heating surface than the 30 gage wire. That is why you had your tank heating up. Also the 32gage heats up later than the 30gage but when it heats up generates more heat and your tanks absorbs it.

I receive the BB ring. I have the same result with both versions pins. The only difference i notice is that the V1 was a liiiiiiiiiiiiitle bit more quieter.

Numbers reversed, but the observation is correct.

Waht version BB do you have? The newest v3?

From earlier last year:

BB tank not sealed.

Doug Dino reposting long Diver mod thread - good info. In this case, a thicker 510 gasket created airflow issues for the v1 Diver - which led to tight draw and leaks. Sound familiar? ;)

And one final bit from another Vapian post:

"Yet one more tip: Recently I started rolling up a bit of paper towel to about 4-5 mm in diameter and trimming it to fit in the Billet Box tank well, in the divot just behind the atty center pin. Just long enough to fill the gap in the back - NOT long enough to wrap forward around the atty of the carto (which would kill air flow ... but it might be something to try if you find the draw is "airy"). This ends up filling the air gap between the back compartment wall and the carto/Diver atty connector, and the bottom of the compartment and the tank. This serves a few purposes:

- As a diagnostic tool. If there's juice in the well, this will help tell where it's coming from. If the bit of paper towel is soaked, juice is flooding from the atty connector; if it's dry or mostly so, it's most likely condensate from the top and might indicate the need to tighten down the brass ring a bit, or for a better-sealing drip tip. I think.
- Not entirely sure yet, but as a side effect it seems to sop things up when it's just a bit of condensate and keep the compartment drier. At least, it seems to me that the tank is coming out easier whenever I change tanks or replace the carto.
- In an emergency, you've got a tiny little paper towel with you. If you have to ask what that's good for, Richard Dean Anderson would like to have a word with you."

That should be the latest version, v3...but without the revised brass ring which was just released within the past month. I got my BB the 3rd wk of October.

I don't have mine with me to check, but the older ones had the version number on the back of the cover.

has anyone had any luck using the 45 mm diver v2 in a zen 2 carto tank? I've tried 3 different builds in it hemp, ekowool and cotton. I'm not sure if it's leaking or if its the pressure in the tank causing over wicking though I suspect the latter is the case all I know for sure is after I fill the tank stand it up and walk away come back in a hour or so and the tank is empty. I tried not filling it up all the way and flipping it over when I put the top on so it's pushing air not juice through the holes.

OK I just rebuilt it using the V1 pin and 3 mm silica this may have solved my issue I'll leave it for a while and see if the tank empties it self

I don't have the 45mm tube, K will be along shortly to assist, I'm sure.

Edit: A lot fo such outright leaking issues are due to a bad ceramic. Do you have other ceramics to try?

crud i just check it the tank is still draining this is disappointing, maybe it just wont work with this tank. I'll see if I can find another tank.

Let's start troubleshooting. Do you have any other tank of any size? Even a regular height tank should work, it will just protrude more - just for testing purposes. I'd like to rule out the tank first. If it is the tank, we can troubleshoot that as well, of course. We're a one-stop auto-body shop here!
