Willowize that's what I was thinking to use due to the BB lowest setting is 4v. I got my diver today but it's seems like when I assemble it and screw the top base on its seems to cut the silca wick and doesn't seem to be enough strands to soak up the juice

When I tried silica a couple of times, this happened as well. What I do is take the threads of the silica strand apart and spread them out. The single piece of silica strand seems a bit too thick, and gets cut when you screw the Diver on.

Having silica from multiple sources, I think the silica used and sold by Atmistique is wound a bit tighter than others. Therefore it is a bit narrower, which is why it fits. Most other "2mm" silica is a bit looser, or perhaps it has expanded since it was first manufactured, likely due to the individual threads becoming a bit looser since they were first twisted together into a 2mm rope.

Ill give that a try out tomorrow and see how it works.. Makes more sense to undo the strands any tighten it down. Have to tried using cotton instead of silca what are you using to wrap the wire with before putting the cotton though?

I only use cotton balls in my Divers. I build a 2mm microcoil using a small screwdriver, around 1.3-1.4 ohms, 30g R and NR wire. I let the coil sit partially above the cup, so I can put enough cotton through without having the cup's slots choke it off. I make sure the cotton almost completely covers the juice slots once I've closed it up and cut the excess wick.

I only toyed with silica for another member who was having issues.

I just really never tried using cotton before cause if it don't wick then I'll just burn that cotton up fast

I spent months fearing much the same. I finally tried some S&C yarn sent by the gracious xtreme101, and never looked back.

Good thing is, organic cotton and S&C yarn are both very cheap, so no big loss if you end up not liking it.

It does take a bit of work, trial and error, to figure it out, just like any new atty, wire or wick. But, in the case of cotton, i think it is worth it. FWIW, I've never had issues with it in any of my attys, and feel very comfortable with it.

Remember, when experimenting, we're always here to help you with any issues you may have. I can help via PM or phone as required.

Cool, received Dv2 today. First set up into BB with precoiled ceramic. Was getting burnt taste after a few draws. So decided to do a cotton build myself. First try got a 2.3 ohm coil and so far is vaping awesomely. Much better favor and no burning of cotton, no leaking so far. I'll post back later if any problems arise.

Well, that's it. Looks like I'm gonna have to get more Dv2's for my phinny tanks.
Oh I forgot I've got a billetbridge coming, only problem there is I have no aspire heads, lol. I forgot to order any.
Reckon I'll wait for a coop and get some. I wonder ( does anyone know ) if the nautilus head will work in it, got several of those coming.

Not sure about the Aspire tanks, but it looks like they will not work in the BilletBridge or the BB tank. They have a lip which will make them too wide to fit into the tank.

are you talking about the heads or the tanks? The billetbridge is made to work in the BB with the aspire head right?

So I reckon I'm asking if all the different aspire heads will work? or which aspire heads will work?

Oh, I went back to look and it comes with one spare aspire bdc head. I reckon I can compare that one to the ones that come with the nautilus when it comes in too.

It will work with all the Aspire heads except the Nautilus head. At least I don't think it will since the Nautilus heads won't work in the other Aspire tanks.

Heyhey, just went to finally place my order and... out of stock?
I'm trying to get a 35mm set plus a 45mm tube (or a 45mm set with a 35mm tube, doesn't matter eh?), flangeless if possible. Any idea when they'll be back in?
I'd rather buy directly from the source than order it from a reseller on the mainland US. I can wait, just need to know if it'll be days or weeks or...? :)
