Phew* I got my AC probably in like March, and I love it so YEAAAAAAA I can just order more. WOOHOO!
Man, I tell ya, I have NO idea what you lot are talking about in terms of "Original mix", except to say that the ORIGINAL mix, which was changed late last year, used a flavoring which had red food coloring, which stirred up many complaints about red food coloring, so it was put to a vote to use a flavoring which did not contain artificial color which won the vote. So the recipe was changed.
It's been the same recipe ever since. So, I don't know what this "bad aftertaste" could be. I use AC myself, every single day and I just don't taste what you taste. I don't. It's been the same to me the whole time, except I just use more VG than most.
Also, this thread is also not a threat, it's an idea, that is all. An idea that YOU are voting on, not one that I'm imposing on you. So, settle down, please.

Sooperdrave. We think we know what this might be. EM (ethyl maltol) is used in a lot of our recipes to mimic a "burnt or carmelized sugar" taste in our liquids without the use of sweetener. While this doesn't actually sweeten the liquid, it at least gives that flavor. It is entirely possible that EM was accidentally used in the bottles you got. If that IS the case, I do apologize. Since the cinnamon is entirely responsible for the sweetness in the AC mix, we don't really need to use EM as it is sweet enough on its own, that it doesn't need help.
I really do suspect this is the case. I just hope you won't hold our company in whole responsible for what could be a simple mistake. Maybe give us a call. Which is always a good policy.
So I don't think your aftertaste is an issue with the recipe, perhaps maybe issues at Lorann's or with tastebuds?
EDIT:: Or what Geoff said.
Hey Geoff, sound like you need to bring back the original recipe. AC will be my next order. Is there really an after taste?
No, the original recipe was voted out due to an artificial coloring issue. Is there an aftertaste? Taste is always subjective. What tastes fine to one person, may have an aftertaste to someone else. But the majority seems to be speaking here, that it's fine the way it is, change nothing.
Although, I WILL admit, vaping AC a couple of times and having what tasted like a rubber tire burning, like Sooperdrave stated, turned out to be the atomizer actually. It was running REALLY hot and burned the liquid. Used a different atty and NO PROBLEM.
But it could also be due to someone accidentally using EM in the mix, when the recipe doesn't call for it.
Always good to consider equipment into the equation too.
