I just got AC last night (love it btw), but I was trying to say that this paint problem was not happening with my Ego and 510 attys, with the cone on, while using a lot of juices, but not AC. This makes me think that AC is causing the paint issue.

Not sure what you mean by "weep", but I guess you are talking about moisture. When I use the ego with the cone on a lot of moisture quickly forms around the part where the atty meets the cart. I tend to take the cone off a lot and wipe this away. Its the only thing that I don't like about the Ego, but I've gotten used to it and I still feel that the cone is worth using.

A lot of foods do that too Martha - I used to get it with orange and red peppers a lot. I think cinamon has the same chemical makeup at some point in its chain because raw cinamon does that also. (My sister says curry powder does it also btw as she wanders past my PC lol) It wasn't dangerous at all (pepper juice wore off eventually lol, I did use some lemon juice to speed up the color removal off my skin though but it stings like an SoB if you have a cut lol)

After two days of using it, and being an sloppy cartridge filler who always end up with juice in his hands I haven’t had any problem.

I can only say the flavor is very good but too much for me, I found my niche mixing with Tobacco at 8 to 1 and is still strong.

I change flavors a lot during the day in two attys. Normally, to remove the flavor in the atty and my mouth, I drip and vape VG… most flavors go away after doing it twice… AC stays there after 12 times! So I guess I’m leaving one atty for it.

By "weep" I mean I get a juice condensation built up around the atomizer and inside the cone after a few hours or so of vaping with the cone on. I did it yesterday with the totally wicked atty and when I pulled the cone off to check the juice condensation, it had bubbled every bit of paint on the entire atty. I wiped the atty with a napkin and it removed all of the paint instantly in one swipe. My white 510 attys from my starter kit only had small bits of paint come off at a time, and they still have at least 50% of the paint on them after days of cone use. I don't really care for the build-up with cone use but it's not enough for me to stop using the cone either. I liked that the paint came off in one swoop on the TW atty, that way I wouldn't have to deal with it every time I pulled my cone off. But the atty died shortly after. So now I'm back on my white starter kit atty and back to dealing with paint coming off a little at a time.

I decided to speed up the process to alleviate my frustration. I took one of my 510 attys and put it in a little puddle of AC so i can get the paint off completely and not have to deal with it anymore. It seems to be working but I think having the atty get hot in the process really helps it bubble off.

I'm getting sick of having to wipe off paint flakes everytime I disassemble my tornado. :nah:

Still not enough to make me stop using a cone let alone the tornado, I freakin love this thing. I get 2 days on the batteries, it is fantastic!

Wow! That is crazy!!! I guess that is going to happen to me too now that I am vaping AC on an Ego. Sounds like a great way to handle it though. Might as well get all that paint off at one time.

It DOES! (and, I also just traded for some more, so it's not stopping me either.) However it makes me wonder what it's doing to my lungs if it can peel the paint off an atty.

Wow. I was all ready to try this after all the rave reviews, but I think I may hold off. Anything that is stripping paint is not something I want to inhale.

I bought a bottle of 48mg AC e-liquid and a doubler in early February. I have vaped it at 36, 24 and 18 MG. I have polished off 3/4 of the e-liquid and about a third of the doubler.

It has had a black 510 atomizer dedicated to it the whole time. I am a sloppy refiller -- I tend to flood atomizers, I regularly have to tissue off the stuff that drips down the side when I miss the Fluval. I just pulled the atomizer out to inspect it and there isn't any paint missing at all, even at the edge by the cart where it gets the most handling. This leads me to believe that AC does not work as a paint stripper. (The top of the cart doesn't feel "mushy" either.)

If people are having this problem primarily with red atomizers, my guess is that there is something in the paint formulation that makes the red adhere less well to the metal.

I've had no-name juice take permanent marker off of my desk. I've been vaping AC like crazy for over 2 months and have not had it do anything crazy to my hardware (no paint-stripping, no softening of plastics, NOTHING).

Has anyone stopped to think that it may be the nicotine? Hell, the .... is pretty god-damned dangerous stuff (as deadly as arsenic in equal quantities).

Next time, before you go making baseless accusations, do some research and/or experiments.
