I bought a spare atomiser and gave it a trial run for a week or so just to check it was working ok.The original was working fine when I replaced it but when I switched them back today it was very weak with next to no throat hit. I've gave it a blow through etc and even tried a direct drip but still no joy Just wondered if anyone has any advice or why this should have happened ?.

No worries, I have tried the coke and my atty never worked again lol. Like I say, Just rinse through with hot water and blow out all the water you can. Then rinse with voddy.Dry as much as you can and then I stuff mine with paper towel and stick on top of the boiler overnight.Has worked for me with 901's and my Janty stick (801) so can't see why it wouldnt work with yours. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Ringo

Right Jeff it's Friday so I suppose it should only be happy stories on here!!.This one you couldn't make up if you tried,I carried out the above sequence you suggested (with a small tear in my eye at the vodka rinse) left it on my boiler overnight and like a wee boy on Xmas morning rushed in to try it out this morning to find that when the heating came on first thing the vibration must have knocked the Atty on it's side and it rolled in through a hole down inside a sealed area of the boiler:p
So after all that i'm off to buy a new spare (and hope the boiler keeps going) lol

Ringo, I'm sorry to laugh at your misfortune but that is one of the funniest things I have read in a long while:D.
If it helps at all, I thought things like that only happened to me. Man, that is seriously bad luck. Hope the rest of your day goes a lot better than it started:thumb:
