Atomizer Base

I was given a kit by a friend that won one, and I am impressed with the hit and the tiny size !

My atomizer got stuck in the sleeve. I pulled it out, but only got the end cap (metal in silicone).
Got the rest of it out, pushed it back together - put it all back together and it doesn't work.
I took it off again to look, there is a wire end attached to nothing. OK...so I guess this needs to attach to something on the metal to complete the circuit, but what ?
The inside of that base (metal in silicone) has an air hole in the center and a tiny hole at either edge.
I did try just sticking it into one of the edge holes...nada.
Nothing appears to have ever been soldered.

sounds like the wick was stuck to the coil. If the wire(coil) is loose you need a new atomizer.

Well...I messed with it again - with my glasses on.
Seems there was an attempt at a solder joint on the metal piece in the silicone.
I am sure not going to try that. I have several soldering irons but nothing THAT tiny !

Solution : I stripped a little more of the plastic coating off the wire, bent it upwards and into one of the side holes (where the solder dot was).
Got it a little ways in there and pushed the end back onto the atty head.

Guess what...it's working !

Wow, I didn't even know the base came off. I'll have to be careful when I'm messing with the attys.

I have decided I am going to find something to push it out of the sleeve now instead of pulling it out.

Yeah, mine has gotten stuck in the sleeve a few times, but has been pretty easy to shake out. I did ruin an atty the same way when trying to dry burn one, though. Glad you are liking the eRoll, classwife! I was pretty amazed by it myself.
