what really is throat hit

everyone is talking about throat hit..

when I first got my 808.. some carts gave me this itching sensation in my throat.. that almost makes me want to cough..

like when you take a giant hit of some illegal substance ..

is that throat hit?

some carts dont do that for me at all.. now im using cinnabomb from vaporbomb with my carts and there's no itching feeling.. which i actually want..

the cinnabomb is 40vg/60pg.. higher vg is less throat hit? or more? any help?

I've never heard it described as an itchy feeling...but yes to the "giant hit" feeling, lol

The higher the vg, the less throat hit.
And the reverse is true for nicotine...the higher the nicotine, more throat hit.

A good mix for me (and many other people) is 80pg /20vg...I vape only 12mg or less nic generally, but still get good throat hit and plenty of vapor with that.

if PG gives more TH.. then why do some people vape 50/50 or 100VG?

I'm more about Flavor and lots of Vapor...don't need the TH.

I think "throat hit" is basically irritation caused by PG and/or nicotine.

Definitely. More vapor, less throat hit.

I think I kinda get what you're saying. To me there's TH and then there's what I call TI (throat irritation). When I get what I call a true TH it's just kinda like a lil bite in the throat, just let's you know you've hit it, kinda cig like.

Some juices kinda imitate that with irritation like AC IMO. Totally different. Backwoods Brew gives me the best experience when it comes to a true TH.
