If working correctly the atomizer should heat the juice to the point it vaporizes. They can burn the juice if they get hot enough. Usually something you wont see unless using a mod and vaporizing at a pretty high voltage
Cant remember which one PG or VG but one of them can put off bad stuff if heated really high. Over twice the temp we normally vape at. The juice will taste burnt before then so normally people would vape at a lower voltage once the juice/vapor starts tasting like ..... Are you asking this because your getting a burnt taste. If the atomizer is on the dry side you will get a burnt taste it is from the wick. Dripping a few drops in should fix it.
Thats a new one on me. When i first started my atomizers would get crusty. It was the juice company i was using. once i switched to my own DIY juice i dont suffer from the crusty atomizer syndrome anymore. I am not going to sit here and say it is safe cause i really dont know if that crusty stuff is bad. Although if i had a choice i would pick the crusty stuff over smoking a cigarette. I guess the safest route would be to not do either one.
