I've only been using ecigs for about six weeks myself, so please take that into account. However, I've read a lot of posts. If...if your atomizer is not producing as much vapor, then there are several cleaning methods. One I've used is just to rinse it with tap water, and blow out the water from the atty through the battery end several times. Then let it dry overnight. That worked for me.
Some recommend the use of Crest Pro Health mouthwash as a soak. Then rinse. And some recommend a dry burn method. Try using the search function and the terms "Crest Pro Health", and "dry burn" for details.

Another thought...
You should always have at least one extra atty. They are a disposable piece, and do wear out. Different users report very different life spans for an atomizer. It depends on the make, the user, the type of juice, and so on. YMMV. But have at least one spare if not three or four on hand. Eventually, every atty will just quit.

I`ve only been vaping a little over a week, but I drip alot, probably flood a lot, and just wasn`t getting the same vape. I did the dry burn on all my attys, and I wouldn`t hesitate to do it whenever one doesn`t seem right. It only takes 5 minutes or less, and really removes some flavors that just stay in the atty, and they vape warmer, like new!

Maya, try cleaning first might solve the issue, but I would recommend getting the second atomizer. Even better get yourself a 5 pack of cartomizers for the 510. Then you can screw one on and be ready to roll anytime you experience weak vapor. GL to ya!
I agree and they are also refillable. I'll never use anything but cartos since I switched.:toast:

maya, 5 weeks isn't too bad of a life span for an atty. I tried the Crest pro thing back when I was still trying to clean attys. I had a hard time rinsing that minty fresh taste out of them and I'm not convinced that it did anything. I've tried alcohol, dry burn and even borrowed a sonic jewelry cleaner once. I thought all of these methods were more of a pain than a $7.00 atty was worth. I figure if it works good for a month I would have spent $250.00 on cigarettes so $7.00 is really no big deal. I buy 5 attys at a time (10 if they're on sale) and when I'm down to 2 I order more. No worries and no fussing around with cleaning attempts.

Honestly, in the 8 months that I've been vaping, I haven't had much luck with cleaning attys. They never seem to go back to having good flavor and seem to lose vapor production even faster after that. It may give you some time to get some new ones, but now I just make sure that I have plenty on hand.

Tasty Vapor now has 510 attys for $4 a piece! Plus they have the best liquid for the best value!

Good luck!

I do the same as Fynlcut. Only thing I do differently is if I have a strong flavor that just doesn't want to leave my atty (like AC) I add a tablespoon of lemon or lime juice (bottled is fine) to my hot water soak. Let soak overnight, rinse, blow out, blow out other end, and let dry. I almost always do a short dry burn to make sure everything is heating properly and quickly. Almost 3 months and haven't lost an atty yet.

I've heard so many people recommending those carto's lately so I really need to try them. 5card can you tell me how long they usually last you before you have to pitch them? A week or longer or less?

I keep refilling, the carto, until I hear the first POP, then chuck it.
Time of use about one week of heavy vape.

So I'v been vaping for 5 weeks now, give or take a day and I love it and
quit smoking analogs totally. YAYYY!!!

So my question is my vapour is not coming out as good as it used to. Should I get a new atomizer or just clean it?

I have a joye 510.

Thanks in advance

Have you ever blown your atty out and gotten the excess juice out?

Rinse the atty it hot water, then blow it through the screw end; do this a few times.
Shake and blow the atty though to remove excess water.
Hold the button down until the coil is orange, then release. When the coil dims, hold the button down until it glows again, then realease - keep doing this for around 20-40 seconds.
Wash the atty again, and blow it through.
Do another dry burn.

This usually rejuvenates my wimpy atomisers, or kills them.
