I just got 2 new atomizers for my riva 510, is it possible they are bad already since have a burnt taste with my new liquids? I added drops to the atomizer but it still tastes burnt. I don't know if it the liquid that's bad or the atomizers. Whats your thoughts?

Can you also tell me how to clean atomizers with baking soda & vinegar? I read it somewhere here and they said it worked great.
Thanks.

My atomizers come with a priming liquid in them that tastes as bad as anything I've ever tasted. I blow through the mouth end and some iof it comes out. Then I put vodka through them a couple times. Blow again. I used to boil water and soak them in that but it takes hours to dry. The vodka kills the nastiness and doesn't need the dry time. It's working for me anyway. Sometimes I then drip a drop of liquid on the wick the first time before I use them.

Yeah, I am currently in the process of dry burning the primer off a new atty. I truly hate it. I've been working on it for hours, it's making me sick so I can only do a little bit at a time.

Someone told me that LR atty's from Avid Vapor don't have the primer on them, so I think I am going to order some from there next time.
