atomizer questions

I bought an atty at a smoke shop near me yesterday and the guy working doesn't vape so we don't know what kind it is. It looks like this though

I purchased some disposable "tips" for this, they hold some liquid and pop into the atty. I have no issues when i use these but occasionally do when i direct drip. Whats the correct way to do that?

That aside, it looks like an eGo atomizer cone. I suspect the drip tip you're describing is actually an eGo tank. That setup isn't really designed for direct dripping, so I'm not surprised you're having limited success. To drip, you'll want something like a Cisco LR 510 atty and a 510 drip tip.

It fits my kgo battery with the cone off perfectly (it's even the same material) so probably. I'm really glad that I bought those disposable tips then lol.

Hi Shini, So describe the innards of this atomizer...... guessing here but does it have a post in the center that looks like the end is hollow and cut at about a 45degree angle? and the tips have am empty well that holds the liquid, with a cap of some type..... and a whistle tip?

If this describes that piece then its an ego-t, type a atomizer.

If this does not describe your atty then it is a standard ego, type a atomizer (with filler)......

I suspect the ego-t to be what you have. And yes you cant drip with that unless you modify it. Even then it wont be spectacular for dripping.... Enjoy.

That is exactly correct

OK, then you got yourself an eGo-T atomizer. Nice, but they now come with replaceable coils, which is much more cost-efficient--when the coil gets dirty and stops performing well, you don't have to buy a new unit, you just replace a coil. The new system is known as eGo-C (changeable) atomizer. If you like your eGo-T, check the eGo-C!

You should be able to drip just fine with an eGo-T, unless there's some fundamental design change between the T and the C. I mean other than the replaceable heads. I'm dripping on an unmodified eGo-C type A right now.

I've also dripped on an 801-T, 510-T and 901-T. So really most of the T's out there.

The only dripping experience I've tried that I would call unusable is pulling the filler out of a bottom coil carto. Every time I tried it leaked and flooded like hell.

I first tried dripping with a carto because I started on 808's and I was too ignorant to know that an 808 and 901 are the same thing on a manual battery. Just like I had to learn that a 901 atomizer won't work without modification on an 808 automatic.

Then I found I really enjoyed the 901-T so I decided to try out a wide range of tank systems. I didn't really enjoy the eGo-T with a tank in it, and I didn't have a drip tip for it to try dripping. The 801 worked better for me without a tank.

Right now I have an eGo type B (original style), the eGo-C, a 306, and several 108 (think 306 with a higher bridge and easier draw) atomizers. My favorites are the eGo-C with a 510 connector on my Echo and the 108 on my Sidesho.

Define dripping atomizer.

Dripping means to “manually” drip eliquid into the atomizer instead of relying on a tank or cartomizer to hold and feed the ejuice. Any 510, 901, 306, 801, 4081, or 401 atomizer can be used for the dripping method. When any one of these atomizers are bought, they usually come with a standard mouthpiece. These mouthpieces can be discarded and replaced with the proper dip tip. A drip tip has a wide hole at the mouth end, which allows the e cigarette user to drip the ejuice onto the atomizer without having to take off a mouthpiece. The drip tip is the mouthpiece now.

I may get a 357 eventually, if only to try it out. I've only been dripping full time for a month now, and by full time I mean all day every day except for when going out. I'm not sure how well one would work on an automatic though.

And I know most dripper prefer de-wicked and de-bridged atomizers, but I couldn't get them to work well on my automatics. Maybe I just need more practice, but for now I'll stick with my bridged and wicked atomizers.

I just received a igo-l today and I'm loving it. I had to learn to wrap a coil but it was much easier than expected. Dripping has so much more flavor than the tanks and the vape is huge.

I think you really need a manual battery to drip. Autos don't give you enough control.
