Hi. Long time lurker. Have several Reo's and am a huge fan. Usually vape my matte black and silver VV RG.

I have neither the time nor the interest, frankly, to deal with rba's.

I've been a user of Ikenvape io6's, but have never been really thrilled with them (tight draw, weak or harsh flavor after the first hour or so). I've also tried Cisco 306's and Smoktech Dual Coil's, as well as the controversial HH.357 (meh). I am *not* a fan of bridgeless attys; the only difference I notice is a lot of spitting. Basically not loving anything these days, which is a shame because I adore my Reo's and have a wonderful selection of liquids.

I would really appreciate some other atty (carto?) recommendations. All the chit-chat nowadays seems to focus on rba's, but that's not the right path for me.

Thanks so much for any help.

Lou

I could never get a genny RBA to work for me but to my surprise it was a piece of cake to wick and wire a Reomizer 2.

If nothing else is doing it for ya I think you should try one out. You might be surprised how easy it is and it performs great on a reo

Hi Leftax,

I'm only about 2 weeks into ReoWorld myself. I started with the RM2 much touted in these here parts. I am thoroughly delighted with how well they work, TH, flavor and vapor. Since my first purchase I have since acquired, or waiting on delivery tomorrow the delivery of 2 Reo Grans and 2 more RM2s. I have had nearly every other tubular toys for the past 2 years. They pale badly in comparison to the Grand with an RM2 on it.

There are folks here that will be along that have vastly more expertize than I, but I unreservedly recommend the RM2 atty.

ciao.

I know you said your not a fan of bridgeless attys but I didn't find these to spit for me and they are as good and cheaper then Cisco's.

LR Atomizers

Beat me to it. Empire Mods atties are very good. I carry a spare with me in my battery case every day. I used these almost exclusively before I started using rebuildables.

There are plenty of videos on the internet that show quick and easy coil & wick builds. There's one on Reomods for the Reomizer 2. Once you've done a few, they really are easy to make, and can last for a while, depending on the types of juices you vape. Also, they are cheaper than other devices in the long run, because a recoil costs a few pennies. You can also build a bunch of coils all at once, and simply swap hem out when needed.

If you like your draw less tight, try a dirt-cheap A7 RBA. In fact, try an A7 first, since it is so cheap, and if the RBA grows on you, you can figure out if a Reomizer would be better. This is what I did.

Take it from someone who said "no" to RBAs just a month ago when I first started vaping: RBAs will kick the crap out of any carto or atty.

You also mentioned cartos. Robert sells some. The Smok Tech Mini 1.7ohm is a great little cartos. Check out his low prices: http://www.reosmods.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=20&Itemid=3

I understand well your wish to abstain from the RBA's. They do take time to build coils. It is a lot easier to slap on a atty or cartos.

There is nothing wrong with an atty or cartos on your REO! A good one that keeps you off the cigs is what we like to see.

There is plenty of information in this forum should you ever want to consider an RBA.

Prior to adding a Reomizer to my Grand, I was using Vapage AMG Hybrid Bottom Feeders, 2.0 ohm from Vapage.com. Probably the nicest atomizers I used (and I tried MANY).

Couldn't agree more! I am a total clutz when it comes to atties and their handling and these have been, by far, the best I have ever used. And they last forever without any fuss or cleaning! The 'clutzy' part is why I just can't bring myself to try the RBA's. :)

Thanks for all the thoughtful replies. I've ordered everything suggested, and even broke down and ordered a RM2 with the accouterments that Robert recommended in a very helpful telephone call. I very much appreciate all the assistance from my fellow Reonoauts!

Awesome! It took me 5 months to switch over to RBAs. Once I did, I couldn't believe how simple it was. Check out this thread for a photo tutorial how to build your RM2. You won't believe how easy it is to build a coil, wick it and vape like a rock star. :)
