The Manta is top air and nigh leakproof. It's 22mm in outer diameter but has a restricted inner chamber that's 14.6mm. Super flavour.

Not sure of your not-22mm requirement, but if it's performance based (rather than aesthetic), you'd be happy with the manta.

I don't think I'd call the Cyclone leak-proof. At all... I do like 'em, but juice comes out the AFC airholes...
Under 22, the challenge is if you want AIR or DUALS, you are seriously limited.
If you like a tight draw, then there are a bunch of other options, not found new everywhere, but people have them and you could find them - things like a ERA or a PDA or a Reactor...
But for air? Nuppin, sorry.

I can't agree. Maybe because the wick or I don't over squonk or just I have a smaller air hole on my AFC than you but no leaking here.

What wrong with an RM2 for a M-T-L vaper ? If you can live with single coils anywhere from 0.7 to 2.0 ohms ( from 7 Watts up to 20 Watts) then the RM2 is very difficult to beat. The only time it leaks is if I over squonk. Or if I over fill the bottle in Summer heat.
Have you tried the RM2 yet ?

It's funny how often these kinda threads always default back to "RM2"

@PapawBrett, it's what I use, and there's nothing wrong! I really like it. I'm a relative RBA noob but I've tinkered to the max and I think I wanna branch out and have a look at other atomizers now. RM4 is winning so far based on what I've read and seen. Just want least leaky as a priority, if there's such a thing

The most leakproof atties would be something like the mantas or top air ones that are similar.

Any that have that kind of inner/outer sleeve air flow thing going on will be less likely to leak. Unfortunately the more air you wish to have hitting your coils, the more prone anything is to leaking.
I found the RM4 to be a decent compromise.

What happens at about that point is that you are settled with a juice you like and things are ticking along nicely, your choices widen. Single or dual coils? Maximum airflow or brilliant flavour?
These are not as easy to answer as you think but the answer will dictate where you go from there - perhaps to flavour atties like the marquis or flat-out cloud chasers like the dark horse.

As the atties increase in size they tend to accommodate one vaping style better than another. There are few all-round versatile 22mm atties - maybe a plume veil, but it has more holes than a rivet-catcher's glove, so the leaking might put you off.

There used to be an RBA called the Hornet, and it was very good as well. But I don't know if anyone is still making them....
Are you inside my head? That's literally the other one I want, mostly because of how well it sits on an original Mini 1.0. I'm a sucker for aesthetics.

(Chowderhead1972 said he had some available when I asked him a few weeks ago. I'm sure I will find when the time comes.)

"Looking for something in the Atomic/RM4 size range and for MTL and flavour."

I don't really like my Atomic, but I can't help you with mid size atty's since I can't mention what I use instead (the 'N' word) because nobody is going to ever get any of mine away from me.

Lots of smaller than Atomic choices that are really great atty's for flavor and MTL, and most DLH if drilled. I don't like bigger than mid size atty's on my Reos though.

I have a Hornet because I have a 2011 Mini that not much else will fit in. I like other small footprint atty's better than it, wish I could run a Chalice on it like all my new Mini 1.0's and 14500 Woodvil's.
