I think that the smaller single coil atomizers will come back into fashion again. Most of the focus at the moment appears to be for big lung hits, blowing clouds etc but it will come back around again. It looks like regulation is on it's way to the EU and the USA that means the price of juice is going to go up. Guzzling through 20ml of juice a day is fine when its cheap, especially compared to analogues, but that is not going to last forever. There is a growing hole in the public finance, make no mistake the government(s) are going to want to fill that hole. More efficient setups will be the inevitable outcome. Till then I am sticking to the RM2! ;)

I agree...In time I think more people will go more nic in the juice and smaller attie for flavor,as to not consume as much throughout the day. I have been running a.9 on my rm2's for 3 years now.I get the perfect vape for my MTL style. When I smoked cigs,I took a long slow pull...That setup with the rm2 gives me just that same feel..I also have never had an rm2 break down on me,and I run them on all of my reos...I also know that Rob has been looking around out there for smaller atties, and there really isnt a lot of selection...most are .22,because thats what the trend is..Rob is not one to by crap, just to have a smaller attie available...Quality is a big must...

Most of my Reos run Nuppin' or Chalice atty's. There's good reason for that... they always get it done for me in spades, no fuss no muss. I like my 2013 Cyclones as well, and an IGO-S, the RM2's and RM3's. Don't like the Hornets as much. I'm even starting to like my Atomic even though it leaks some. I have other small atty's that worked fine until I got better, and some 22mm that I seldom if ever use or have never used. 22mm atty's on Reos are just not my thing.

If you like your RM2 you would probably like a RM3 just as well (either for single or dual coils) without breaking the budget.

The RM4 (Atomic) is still one of my favorite attys. for me, the flavor rivals the Nuppin. However, one modification I did to mine is, I drilled through, to make a 2nd squonk/drain hole. It makes it a lot better, especially for higher VG juice. I use 70/30, and it's perfect, with a 2nd hole. Getting the center post out, to drill it, is a bit of a chore though.

Interesting Jim... I didn't think about having to add a second drain hole to a bf'd Atomic/Atomic clone/RM4 because mine came from Tom with the CP drilled thru with nice big holes that work great for my VG Heavy to 100% VG joose. So I guess it depends on the source that modified it to BF in the first place whether you'd have to do that modification. Can confirm that with the CP drilled thru though that it squonks/drains as easy as easy can get. If it didn't leak at all it could be the perfect working atty for lots of budget conscious folks. Mine leaks very little, but enough that it wouldn't be a pocket atty. It works well on the desk though, and does flavor well with low enough builds for the bigger chamber. I want to try one high center parallel or two high parallel coils in it one of these days, there's plenty of room for them. It's been on an otherwise unused LP Grand for weeks now. But it'll never replace any of my Nuppin's that to me are more versatile flavor atty's (and a lot better looking to my eye).
BTW, I revisited it because of past comments you've made about it... thanks for that. :thumb:

I also have one I got from Tom, and it had 2 squonk holes, when I got it. For a long time, noticed that I preferred it to the RM4 I got from Rob. That is, until I opened up the second hole. However, on the other hand, I was a bit uncomfortable with the Phillips screw heads that came on the one I got from Tom. Rob changes the screws to hex grub screws, which I prefer. So, I changed out the Phillips ones. I don't find them particularly leaky. At least no more so than other 'side air' attys. they do have almost zero reservoir in the deck, so over-squonking can happen.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Nuppin as well. I have 4 metal Reos. 2 have Nuppin V2s, the other 2 have Atomics. I don't like any 22mm attys on metal Reos. I do like them on the Woodvils, though. But I'm pretty fussy about what 22mm attys I like. I don't like many, for one reason or another. It seems like whenever I find one I like, they stop making it. LOL. My all time favorite is the Manta V2.

Can't remember if Tom sent the Atomic with phillips or grub screws, or if I changed it to the grubs myself. Can almost remember him sending me both. Mine leaks some, but my Nuppin's and smaller atty's with side air do not. Some of the 22mm are leakers, one all it does is leak. Just don't like any of the 22's I've tried, so assume I wouldn't like those I have but have never bothered to try either. I have 15 metal Reos... 4 run Nuppin's (the other 4 Nuppin's are on Woodvil's), 7 of them run Chalice. I'd like Nuppin's, Chalice and 2013 Cyclones on all 23 of my Reos, but can also get by just fine with what they all are running right now. There'll be some personnel changes eventually via trades or ads, both Reos and atty's, as some are not getting used much, some not at all now that I know which Reo/atty combos I like the best.
