All I can say is Im pretty heated right now about atomizers in general. My new HH357 V2 stopped working after 2 days. It still gets hot, but it wont make ANY vapor. I pm'ed H-Bomb, but he has yet to respond even though hes been online multiple times since then. I tried going through AV, but they never responded either. It really pisses me off that something that costs almost 20x that of a singe carto performs less than 1% as good as a carto, AND has ZERO customer service to support it!

I pretty quickly decided on attys over cartos on my Reos. I couldn't get more than a day or so on a carto before it started to clog up. But finding the right atty has been almost equally as frustrating. Finally discovered the 901 style and have been using both Cisco and IKV 901 for the last couple of months. These have been the easiest to use, especially with a drip shield and provide excellent flavor and vapor. Still, I only get about two weeks of peak performance before the flavor starts to drop, and thats with regular cleanings. At about $9 a pop its not a bad deal, but I still feel like I'm spending too much to get a consistant vape. Thats why I'm anxiously awaiting the release of the bottom fed rebuildable from mark bugs. Early reports are fantastic, and the prospect of never having to buy another atty super exciting. Of course, this hobby seems to always have me spending $ on the latest and greatest, but ideally it will be on new RBAs that will last me years as opposed to new attys that I'll toss in two weeks.

While I really love my hh.357s, I did not care for them on my REO's. I have a top feeder I'll never use anything but an hh.357 on, but I just couldn't quite make it work perfectly every time on my REO. I've more or less settled in to an i06 on my VV Woodville and my Mini either has a 2.0 ohm Cisco 306 atty or a 1.8 ohm boge carto on it all the time. I keep a couple of the super shorty 1.7 ohm cartos in my glove boxes in case of an atty or carto failure while I'm out away from my vaping supplies.

I'm pretty fond of cartos for the most part. They're easy to use on or off the REO. Some are better than others, of course, but you can't really go wrong with the boge (as you already know). One of the beauties of the REO's is that they are atty *and* carto friendly.

I've never had to put avids customer service to the test, but I've read others saying its top notch. Sorry your experience so far has been a rough one, but I think the odds are in your favor that they'll resolve your issue.

Well, I'm cheap because I am the ATTY KILLER!!
EM LR 510 from Rob work good on my 3.7V Reos- About one out of 10 is pretty much DOA...I put one on yesterday (grand), dripped 4 drops in it...waited, hit the button- perfect!! Put the drip tip on, slightly squonked, got one good vape and then nothing- I took the atty off, checked it and it was up to 75ohms- It died a sudden death- immediately after starting to use it. I had to grab another one that's been working fine since then.

On my VV Woodvil, I have been enjoying Joye 2.3ohm 510 attys (ones with the gold band). I need to get more of these- I hope to find a deal on them today- the last deal on them was awesome cheap- like $10 for 5...I'm down to my last two (2) and will be traveling next week, so need to hurry!! Anyone know where they have a good deal on this atty today??

Vapor Kings had a "deal," not as sweet as the previous one but for about $50, I got 10 2.2~2.3 Joye 510 Attys- these are awesome at about 4.4V on my VV Woodvil...can turn up the heat some on them during the day but back down around 4.4 in the evening....like to taste the flavor!!

Yep thats were I get mine, I just ordered 20 more on Thursday.
47 bucks per 10 I think and cheap shipping.
I think I spent 97 bucks on 20 shipped.

It cost me 97 bucks or more to get 10 Cisco attys shipped with the stupid NY sales tax.

They are not the gold band as you know but they perform amazing on the VV.

I've always preferred a Joye atty...and to me, the banded ones are so much better...the 2 sources I have been buying attys from have stopped carrying them...I am joining you in the search for who has them. (aside from TW)

I never understood a carto on a REO.

Thanks- wish I understood what a sweet deal that was about a month ago when we got 5 of those gold-banded 510 attys for like $10...those went quick but I should have stocked up. I really hadn't bought them before and didn't have a VV Reo yet so was buying for that purpose- they just work so well!! I hope the non-gold banded ones perform close to how those performed. Thanks Karen- those are actually decent prices for what you get. I'll wait on a sale and these 10 should last me awhile.

Good news is I spent this evening cleaning about 20 attys that were defunct (for all practical purposes) and about 12 made it into the "usable" bin... We'll see though how they actually vape. Sometimes used attys ohm out right but aren't worth a crap.

Another 901 user! So, much cleaner and tastier than those nasty cartos! I have to wonder if the HH357 is that much better. I tried io6s. They were good but, not really impressive and the 3 I bought all died in 3 days. At $22 a pop, I have a feeling I'll be waiting a while to try an HH357.

While I really love my hh.357s, I did not care for them on my REO's.

Agree, the feeding is quite mysterious sometimes. I know I'm getting dry and give them the tiny squonk that worked 30X before but alas flooded big time. I got it down to only 2 floods per day usually but it was a pain.

I find the Cisco Bridgless 306 at 1.5Ω to be the perfect replacement for my HH attys.
Feeds perfect every time and produces 95% the flavor and vapor of the HH ..... Add in its only 9 bucks instead of 22 and I smell a winner.

Back to the OP, you mentioned trying all kinds of atomizers.
But its only been a month?
A month to get the hang of a single atomizers might be needed, but if your jumping around from brand to brand and type to type your making it much harder for yourself.

Pick something and stick with it for a few months.
Just my 2C

Welcome rlh445 :) We look forward to your findings.

Thanks, Rhapsodies! I look forward to them too :D. Since I received my Grand, I haven't touched my Lavatube lol..and although I have only been using cartos on it (so I can't really attest how it is traveling with an atty or something) I can say that it's been really nice to just grab my fave flavor and roll out the door.

it has been mentioned before in an other thread (for the Mini): Non Pushing System (made by Lukkos) for the Reo Grand or Mini. it consists of a modified bottle with an extra air flow tube and modified feed tube + a rubber cap to regulate the flow.

_355.jpg

works nice with ciscos 306 or 510

say arrivederci al skuonk :)
