Atomizer won't stop

I have been using 510 atomizers for the last four months and thats all I use. Sometimes after a drag I let it sit and I smell something burning. Its my atomizer. I clinch my teeth and quickly unscrew the hot atomizer and take out the half burnt cart out. I don't understand it. I cleaned it and the connection and it continues to do it every once in a while. It just started to happen to my LR 510 atomizer today and I had it for about 2 weeks. What could I do about this problem?

Is it the same battery that does this each time. I would figure yous hould look more at your battery misfiring than your atty.

Does indeed sound like a problem with the battery, I've never heard of an atomizer being the culprit of these types of problems. Like what vleath said, if its the same battery that does it, there is a problem with it. I am sure you can talk to you supplier about the problem if it is still under warranty.

With the LR I am using it in a AA box mod. The regular atty was doing it while using the manual 510 battery. With the LR I have 6 different 14500 and it really doesn't matter what battery I use. I bet its the tact switch. I think back and it never did that with my push button mods. Could using to much liquid flood the atty and cause this to happen?

I agree w/you sounds like the switch. I am not that familiar with tact switches, except I've had one go bad; however I have had my mechanical switches stick, and the atomizer would get hot enough to melt a car seat. What do you vape with?

This is a battery problem it was a big issue for M401 users such as my self (like 4 battery dead for m401),it happens either if liquid some how gets into the device (which can't really happen with a 510) unless you had it in your pocket on a hot day outside it might cause the battery to sweat inside always try and keep cool.

It also happen to me once while i was at work my 510 was in my pouch pocket. Not knowing that i have open it while i was bent over to pick up something, it fell straight on the floor hard and this cause the battery to go haywire and burn my atty
