I recently purchased 3 atomizers at 1.8 ohms from ikenvape. One io6 and two of the regular 510 ones. They all died in a day or less. They worked fairly well for the time I used them but I don't think they should have died that quickly. I liked them so much that I bought three more. I just got them today but I don't want to use them if they're just going to die again unless its not my fault.

Prior to this I bought 15 cartomizers and they all died but one which I've been using for like a week and a half and taste awful. And by died I mean, I put them in, filled them up hit the button and they just sort of fizzled out. One or two last a minute or so. I just assumed they were poor quality and decided to look for a higher quality atomizer that would be good for dripping.

I am using 3.7V Janty Ego battery. I have two of them. Considering the cartomizer is still working I don't know whats going on. The cartomizer is 2.2 ohms. But I was told that the 1.8 would work just fine with my batteries. Any ideas? I've spent ~25 on three atomizers and another 25 on ones I don't want to break.

I do not want to burst your bubble and it is extremely frustrating as a beginner but yup, you are the culprit (sorry to say). I will not deny you will get the odd, and I mean odd bad one but, you are going through them like poop through a goose.

Please post what you are doing to prime them

What kind of liquid you use

Please post your vaping style etc...

You may not be breaking them in properly, e.g their is a break in period on atties, even IKVs (although shallow).

How many drops do you drip, and how do you drip. Are you chain vaping them, are you vaping them partially flooded etc..

How many drops to you use in the cartos etc...

I get 5 to 7 days from a Boge 2.0 Carto with 100% PG juice. If I vape VG, then 2 or 3 days and they are ready for a change. Thicker juices don't wick well in the carto filler and you end up with a bad vape. Dry filler leads to burning of the filler around the coil.

If you are using a high VG content juice, that may be the problem. You can help to extend the life of your cartos if you add juice to the battery end of the carto where the coil is. You will just have to top them off more often to keep it saturated.

Filling cartos this way helps to get them saturated well on the first fill.

I generally put three or four drops on them and wait for a bit. I don't usually prime the atomizer? 1.8 ohms is fairly warm for me so I just start, do I need prime the atomizer?

70/30 PG/vg I think. 24 mg, ranging from a clear to a lightish yellow, mint and honey, to a dark brown maple flavor.

Please post your vaping style etc...
There's a cut off point on the battery I'm using but I hardly ever get it to go off. I go through periods of chain vaping and I'll stop when the atomizer is getting too hot and take a break until it's cool again. All day long when I'm off otherwise just at night for 4-5 hours. Since they've been dying I try to take breaks in between every hit usually about 30 seconds to a minute. I refill them every 20 minutes or so with 2-3 drops.

I don't think I'm flooding them as I never hear that gurgling sound.

I'm not so upset about the cartomizers since I hate those things and they were really cheap. But the atomizers aren't so cheap and I just ordered a bunch more and I'd like these to last at least a couple weeks if not more. I still have a couple that are working but I'm afraid these will die soon and randomly as well.

Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong? Advice to make it stop. I never had this problem before but I was also using different batteries and atomizers. And the tank atomizer things that these batteries came with lasted for a couple months but I really don't like those at all and prefer dripping.

Your juice seems fine to me

IO6 requires 4 drops to prime and 2 drops thereafter

510 5 drops to prime, hit the button twice for a sec or so, then add 2 more drops. Vape away drippint 2 drops as required.

A session = 7-8 hits depending on atty. Replenish after the atty has cooled for next time.

BTW if the atty burns your cheek when brought to it. the atty is too damn hot.
