I'd go with an AGI if you haven't had any building experience. I just advertised it in my last post. Being able to play around with a genesis style and rda is fun. I honestly never use it as a genesis style atomizer, but the ability to see if I'd like both with a first RBA was good. There are better drippers to get to build dual coils with, however.

Lots of advice and help here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/atomizers-cartridges/405910-regular-atty-drippers-dying-breed.html

You can drip on any atomizer. Everyone has their own favorite. But, you can just start out simple. If you're using a 510 connection, you can always just get a couple of 510 atties of differing resistances and try them out to see what you like. And, branch out from there.

The above thread is an excellent place to start or to ask questions along the way. Good luck and have fun!

Hi

Here's another shameless plug for my dripping blog. It's just plain dripping with 510/306 attys, nothing fancy or expensive. Drip, Drip, Drip…

Just got into rba's. I'm using the Russian rba. While I've never tried dripping, I do drip it and do a test vape whenever I make a new build or changing out the cotton and dry burn the coil. I'm really liking the Russian, Kayfun style rba, every type of build I've made has worked. Pretty good size platform, bottom feed coil setup with an equalization pressure feed system that keeps your wick wet. Topped off with a 4.3ml tank, and I am set for a full day at work without worrying about a refill. Just did my first Dragon Build, using a 10 wrap nano/micro wrap.. Lots of different rba's out there, best to search and find one the tickles you fancy. My first genesis rba should be arriving this afternoon, so look forward to playing with that.

Not shameless...that blog helped me a lot! It answered questions that I didn't want to ask on here. I have one eye that works better than the other so my depth perception sux...dripping isn't for me. I miss too much! But, at least now, I know how to do it! It's a must read for anyone who drips...hahaha...that sounds funny.

I recently got the Kayfun Lite. I've been building coils for a little bit on other attys with mixed results....some work ok, some not so much....but all with a ton of fiddling. Isn't it nice to nail it the first time? Take a vape and think "oooohhhh, THATS what they're talking about!" I like the micro coils too, using cotton. This was the first weekend in a long time that I barely touched a carto tank. Kayfuns and The Russian are hard to beat if you ask me. I finally got a Genesis to work really well consistently. I prefer the Kayfun hands down. I really like not having to look and see if it's aiming the right way.

+1 on the 510/306 I am a carto guy for convenience, but dripping.....wow..what flavor.....IF you get the right dripper. Great for testing juices too.

I get those LR 306 models from myvaporstore. They hit hard and last along time if cleaned regularly and you dont burn em out.

I wish I know of a great LR 510 that worked as well....... ( Im fishing here if ya didnt notice )

This is where a lot of the members on the dripping thread buy their 510s, but they are SR and too high for my Reo.

510 Atomizers | DigitalCiggz.com

I buy my 306s in bulk from Vapor Kings. They sell LR 510s in bulk for a good price, not as good as Digital Ciggz, but they are LR.

Asbestos, if you like the micro build you'll love the Dragon Build. Basically a micro with the wick on the outside of the coil instead of running it down the center. With the kayfun style rba, this means mounting the coil vertically, right above the air intake, one end pointed straight at the air intake, the other end of the coil pointing into the funnel cap. You then just pack your cotton around the coil and down into the juice platform, making sure the top hole of the coil is exposed and not covered with wick. Calling it the Volcanic Dragon build. I used a 1/16" drill bit to wrap the coil, I did a 10 wrap, then with coil still on bit, inserted bit into the air intake hole, then attach the wire leads. With coil still on drill bit you can easily adjust the height of the coil above the hole and align it properly. Tighten your screw, ease out the drill, put collar on, surround with cotton, saturate with juice, and she's ready to blow. Try it, you'll like it. lol
