That is good news for them as they only took a pre-order and never followed through with it so they may save them self yet - However I am deeply sorry for there customers! Good news is you can take that money and head to elev8 and get in on better customer service... lol

Your calculations are on point. And as far as x being as good as y, is what I think he or she meant. That's purely up to the individual and materials/methods used to achieve said resistances. But to say that's not true is not true, imo. If I made a micro coil of 28g and simply added say one more wrap to get a 1 ohm coil and fired at exactly the same voltage, I can't tell a difference, if I do it's very small difference.
I hope they haven't transferred large sums of money to Cloupor for the outstanding orders.

I doubt it. The lawsuit is only against 1 vendor, and that vendor was the only US vendor (that I know of) that was selling the Hano Logo version. This suit is about Trademark infringement, not patent infringement.
I personally feel bad for Illvapes. They made a grave error by accepting logo'd clones and are now paying the price. There are very few vapor stores and still fewer B&M's that don't do the same thing with their mech mods.

its both there faults, dillvapes fault for selling a logo clone when no one else was and have the audacity to sell it for more, and its hanas fault for jumping the gun and suing them without a warning shot....
I don't see anything wrong with protecting your business and property, intellectual or otherwise.
