Are you sure? Because I thought my vaporshark was the same way. Since there was a delay, I found if i keep holding down the fire button it will fire after the delay.

Well you should be the one that who will be able to tell any differences between vendors then. Besides color comparison.
It only happens in power lock mode... And I just noticed it wasn't firing I'll see if it will fire if I continue to hold it... I don't get this in regular mode

Man that's a lot of vw mods. My girlfriend thinks I'm insane and the only mods I have are a zmax v5, and the hana clone. She's completely happy with her ego batteries, which is probably a good thing for me.

Yeah, mine from elev8 has a number scratched in it also. I don't remember what is was though. I will take the cover off later today and let you know.

Don't apologize - however your apologies made the video seem to be well done, which it was. Except for two things, video is in landscape mode to match the devices we watch them on - and you should verify your gear before using it.

There is a green light when the battery is fully charged - you just have to find a way to see it and it does take about 30 minutes to show after the icon shows full. For me I could not see the green light on the sides of the USB port, or through the inside back red window. The way I can see it is to look from the top of the device to the bottom and then tilt it to the side with the screen while looking at the bottom inside edge of the screen - from this angle I can see the red light and when it does turn green - so Clouper just did not add a charging light port to the device for some reason. For me this is not an issue, the full battery icon + another half hour of charging is good enough.
The device is painted, not anodized, and I'd guess it was painted with an electrostatic painting method, hence the even thickness of the paint and every nook and cranny was painted. BTW - The orange peel is not blantantly obvious and appear very nice.
The screw holes in the back cover of mine no longer have paint on the inside holes from removing and inserting the screws; so I think the paint will not hold up well. But time will tell - considering the cost. WTH!
Compared to the DNA
The Clouper Clone is very close to the DNA 30 but you will not get an identical vape experience at the same wattage settings for every atomizer. On the clone I got a variance as much as .1 of ohm from the actual device. Ohm, wattage, voltage calculations are different from the DNA (rounding errors maybe).
Differences - It only takes four clicks to unlock the device from when it is locked when in Right Mode. Change to Left mode and then four clicks locks the device, five clicks to unlock. The screen brightness changes are minimal. you have to see the change from bright to dim to know the difference.
One other note - The back cover can be moved to line up very well with tight joints before tightening down the screws.
Bottom line - I wanted a Hanna Modz but in the couple of months of looking I could not get my hands on one! Will now Hanna is going to have to step up their game to get me interested! The Clouper Clone is not a clone, as in identical in every way, yet an excellent alternative, especially considering the price.

Yep I looked too. I was almost the owner of two, lol. I'm not preordering another, I'll just wait for my green one. If it had been in stock I so would have ordered. I found a few on eBay, but they were like 109$-169$. I found the phone number on wetvapes site, however, they are closed weekends. I was gonna call the guy up to see what was up. I guess I'll just wait it out. I do like the looks of the hcigar logo on those units, I may try to locate one of those.
Well done! Thank you. This will help everyone when their devices arrive. Your last paragraph speaks volumes for most people on here, I'm sure. I originally ordered one from SSvape. According to the list on that thread I still would be waiting for it at 250 dollars. I feel I made a great choice by ordering this one.
My black vaporshark is painted black and I have no problem with it. I do feel though, that at least the orange and green ones are, and will be anodized based on some videos I have seen.
I was on the ss vape preorder also. I decided I didn't want either of those companies to have my money. This is the only clone I own. I wanted one, I got one, and Hana didn't get my money.

Being in Canada it's even harder I found one in stock after months of searching and they wouldn't ship to Canada What a bummer I finally bought a used one in the classifieds for full price of a new one it's on it's way now can't wait to compare the V3 to the clone when they get here
