exactly, that ...... me off that he's doing his end all be all review on the clone with a sample that had a lot of problems to begin with, its the beta version. of course it has scratches, its been through someones hands already and im sure illvapes didn't care enough about it to keep it scratch free, why would they its a sample... the screen, the stickers... none of the ones people are getting now have anything that has to do with hana on it, the 510 connection being crooked is BS to... its a freaking sample. now everyone who follows rips words like he's the prophet is going to shy away from the clone just because of a review of a sample.... did i mention its a sample!!! geeezzzz

ps. i wouldn't be surprised if the owner of hana modz told rip to do a crappy review (since they have such good rapport) and be nit picky with the clone to drive the stock of the clone down so it wont do as well... because lets face it, a lot of noobs actually listen to him

So Rip says once the battery is 3/4 dead, the vape quality drops off.......Dang! That's why I was interested in this thing to begin with. Hopefully its not too noticeable or I'll be swapping out batteries left and right.....just like my mechs.

Anyone notice this?

I metered it throughout vape time at different battery levels. I get a consistent reading all throughout

I like rip, but before even watching the video i had a feeling he was not going to recommend it. But you can bet he will recommend any $200+ authentic mods despite any flaws they might have. And as others have said, he needs to update it with current information.

I'm part of a fb group, whenever he does a video about parallel/stove top coils etc, within a day or two people post videos using those same builds using the same slang as he does. It's funny. Yeah, a lot of people hold too much value in his opinion IMO

its sad that only the people on this ECF thread or the ones who already ordered it and is following the updates are gonna know the truth behind his video... every other noob who's not on the pre order is just gonna take his word for it.

ps. as for the crooked 510, i bet illvapes wasn't being gentle with the sample cause lets face it its a freaking sample... and they bent the 510 while switching out rda's and because they didn't use epoxy but just regular hot glue for the samples, it made it easy... im kinda actually mad at RIP for being so irresponsible with his voice

His videos are very entertaining! Learned a lot about making coils from him. But not everyone has his budget for vaping or gets things for free. All that being said, yes he needs to do a follow up with a mass produced device not a sample...

This was above 4v btw of course it will decrease when unregulated below the 4v threshold.
