On a separate topic: Charging times

Changed out the battery for a Sony VTC4 2100 Mah battery that was at 3.18 volts and charged it in the clone. It took 4 hrs, 35 minutes to charge and have the led shine green around the micro usb connector. I depleted the Sony VTC5 2600 Mah I had in the clone to 3.19 volts before the check battery screen flashed. I charged it in a xtar dual cell charger and it charged in 3 hours 17 Minutes at 500Mah charge rate.

The screen comes on intermittently, I'm taking that as a sign of affection, basically the clone is saying "Hey big boy, is that a bottle of juice in your pocket or are you just glad to vape me?":p

I do feel bad for my poor mechs. I put old carto tanks on them so the don't look so lonely.
 
Have any round 3 101orders for black recieved any tracking or updates?? Sure wish these guys would've do e the right thing and shipped out everyones black mods before offering the round 1 and 2 people the option to take them. Kinda messed up imo. Doesn't exactly help when the items I included with my clone dont even show up on their site anymore and to add on to everything they refuse to update their customers as to when we will see our already purchased goods. If a new company like elev8 can do it theres no reason why 101 cant. This will likely be my finally purchase from 101vapes. Id rather wait the agonizing fasttech wait.

Its already been said before but what CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! BTW I am the user called "myself" on there updates who said there second to none :)
I will get a mod from them when there in stock...

Personally, I will not be one of the customers raving about their customer service. Updates are nice, but they're meaningless until they deliver a product, and IMO, they bit off way more then they could chew, and I'm unimpressed with their business tactics.

They have thousands of dollars in hand for products they don't have, and don't seem to have any idea about when they'll be able to make good on all the orders they've taken.

#1051 Silver. I'd be surprised if I saw mine ship this week, ordered over a month ago when shipping was expected the first week in May.

They've shipped more than other vendors, from what I see. They also took in more people than other vendors. And plus at this point I don't blame them because it's cloupor who needs to ship the units to them first. I took my order with illvapes because they came before elev8, I then canceled my order and went to elev8. Even though the wait is long, they make you feel like a friend. They send you personal emails and continue to update us. Whereas all the other vendors are no where to be found. We took a risk doing this pre order, so I don't know why you think it's about "delivering" when you know that it's not their fault

And what do you guys think a reasonable amount of time to wait for a pre-order after the initial estimated ship date has passed, 1 month 2 months 3 months, more? You know, before you would start to consider cancelling and trying to find it elsewhere.

Just a question, curious of your guys thoughts/

Have you ever taken part in a pre-order before? Plenty of people have received their clones from them. I almost feel personally offended by this. Arlind has handled this especially well, far better than companies that have been around for years! The ones he gets in are up to Cloupor, not him. When he gets them is up to Cloupor, not him. Anything and everything we knew about these devices have been thanks to him. If you can't wait don't pre-order....

Actually their customer service is great, but I think that Cloupor is promising these vendors mods that they are having trouble delivering. They know that the 30W market is about to be flooded and they are trying to grab every $$$ they can before the 35W and 50W mods arrive, which are right on their heels. I really don't want to cancel my elev8 order but I am really contemplating it. The SX 350 is here and I probably would enjoy the extra 5W. Also I read where #816 Black has not even been filled yet and black is supposed to be the abundant color AND THEY ARE ON #3333. Poor souls will literally be waiting until Thanksgiving. I'm in the 1600s and I may be waiting as well

Email again or give Arlind a call. You're not being ignored. He's probably got an inbox full of entitled people asking where their clone is and why they don't have it yet, and yours has gotten lost in the mess. The initial date is NEVER set in stone, I've seen more releases after the release date than on it. When elev8 has it, you'll have it. If you ordered a color they're having trouble with and are growing impatient, maybe switch to black... It'll be a lot shorter wait then an authentic Hana....

I think 1 month after the ESD is reasonable. I really think all of these vendors are in over their heads. There have been A LOT of Canas ordered and way to few delivered. I want one BADD as well but I'm not thinking things are happening that fast at all. ANY THOUGHTS ??


I agree 100%. I ordered from Elev8 over a month ago, silver #1600-something. Kinda wishing I ordered black or waited until someone had stock. If I didn't pre-order I'd already have one in my hands.
