Didn't you get your just like 2 days ago or recently? Also what atty are you using with it? And how high are you vaping (i.e. wattage setting).

Got it tues morning.
No clearos here. A couple drippers and Kayfuns. Usually sticking between 15 and 20w. Did 30w on a .55ohm dripper last night very briefly.

Is it me or has Elev8 been pretty quiet? As far as them, and lack of postings from customers about getting their units.

I emailed them about my unit that I got a tracking number for Saturday, but didn't ship till this morning. They told me that they ran out of priority mail boxes and it they didn't ship anything priority Monday or Tuesday. So, if I had chose regular shipping, I would have had the unit tomorrow. Instead, I paid $6 to wait till Friday. I politely asked for a refund for the priority upgrade.

Hmm I keep hearing more and more inconsistancies with some of the chips and it seems to be hit and miss on which ones are going to crap out. Getting a $50 chip and taking the time to basically upgrade this thing may end up being worth it imo. Still $70 + 50 = $120. Maybe $130 if you throw in a better 510 and couple dollor's in solder, epoxy and glue. + Time and effort. Still worth it imo.

If you already have that skill set, a 50 watt OKR build would only run you about $50.

Ya I could build that and but imo I like the look of this better then a hammond box build. I have my own sx350 mod I built and I love it but the cana clone enclosure is great. If I could take a similar enclosure around the sx350 I would. If the raptor chips were not currently on backorder then I could build one of those. Speaking of OKR's they have the 110watt OKL2-T20 110 watt chip out. I may end up building one of those just for strictly sub ohming. They are only $12

Received my Cana mod yesterday! I had gotten home from work, not even expecting to see this thing until today or so (ordered from Wetvapes in Buffalo, NY...I am in Rochester, NY) but it was inconspicuously sitting on top of my VapeStation (thanks roommate!)....been using my Kanger Aerotank Mega's on this thing and WOW! Never been a VW device user, but like many, I jumped on the bandwagon and so far, have no regrets!

Wetvapes is fantastic btw...bought the mod, an efest battery and they threw in a 10mL bottle of their juice...and FAST shipping!

No quirks that I have found with this unit yet...although I am mindful of not screwing on the Megas too tight for fear of shorting or ruining the 510 connection. Feels super solid in the hand, great finish and love the buttons (now my MVP gives me PBusardo finger syndrome when I go back to it :p)

Let's see how long this thing lasts though....

can anyone recommend a better 510 connection? i'm just preparing for the worst when it shows up... prob going to order a dna board just to be safe as well. also can i keep the original buttons or would those need to be replaced as well?

Why so overly pessimistic?

Vast majority of the people who have received them seem to love um (even with the quirks), me included.

Think you may be pleasantly surprised.:vapor:

While I'm waiting for my first (a red one, should be here FRi.), Where does one get those cool "color coordinated" drip tips I've been seeing on so many of the pics in this thread? I found some on VapeRev, but I'm not paying $15-$25 for a drip tip.
Thanks!

lots of vendors have them...here is but one....8 pages of them...

I would say fatdaddyvapes because they are the best ive found but it looks like they are out of floating and the adjustable atm. I just happen to have gotten a 3 pack a bit ago I was going to use until I got the floating one they came out with. So no more floating 510's till 15th of this month and no more adjustable 510's till 30th. I searched high and low to find anything else similar but couldn't. There are probably some other decent basic 510's that are better then what's in the cana. But I haven't dealt with any myself. But I don't think I will mess with anything unless something does go wrong. Seems to be a great device so far.

i just now found a fix for the aerotank mega that worked for me with the spare parts i had on hand.

if you have that tiny (1mm-2mm) o-ring that comes in the kayfun/clone spare parts bag (fill screw o-ring);
-unscrew the lower tank section and coil head.
-use a small flat blade screwdriver and from the area the coil head was screwed into push the positive pin and insulator/isolator out.
-remove the insulator, install the o-ring (i stretched it over a drill bit that was slightly larger than the pin) and replace the insulator.
-push the modded assembly back in.
-don't over-tighten the atty.
