All aside, I agree that I wouldn't try a 100W Chinese clone sans testing.
With any atty that the clone could theoretically fire (.3Ω) it would be the 30W limit of the chip. But if it's like the real DNA30, you won't be firing .3Ω coils on it.
Is that clone transmitting radiation because the video is all effed up lool
What i was trying to say was why trust a 30 watt device made by one company if you font support another one but better

Because the gap between $70 and $250 is a big one. And the difference between getting one a few days later than you would have hoped is much better than shelling out $250 for something you may not receive for months, and after the next best thing comes along to supplant the DNA30.
By next year, many of us will be seeking 100W+ MODs, and they'll be available to the masses because China will produce them for us.
Well, I'm in at Elev8. Round 3, order #1690. I'll be happy if I see it by the eom.
#1237 here, looks like the 3rd round blew up (I imagine there are orders for other things too though, but willing to bet it's a majority of clone orders). I ordered pretty much as soon as the 3rd round came back. I'm sure they'll get them out quickly though, this is a highly anticipated item. How many do you think they can mail out in a day?

There is no magic sauce to his design. All he did was design a case for a chip set, albeit a pretty one.
The clones will come.
It is just a lot of machining but it could be replicated in mass quantities. But I agree that there are better design's out there. I don't like that it comes with a 14500 tube. And when you put the 18650 tube on it, it doesn't even look right honestly. They need to come out with a clone of a dna or a chinese original that has a floating center pin like the seven 22.

ill be honest, im kinda excited about this review because i know with how up to date elev8 has been keeping everyone i know its gonna be extremely in depth...
ps. elev8 is saying there looking at shipping out the products next week, hope thats how it is for every other vendor as well
