So I am too suffering from buyers remorse now. While browsing this weekend, I seen the Vamo S mod and I don't know how I never seen this before now. So I ordered the parts to convert a stainless V5, but I am now tempted to cancel my illvapes order. The whole reason I ordered a cana was for the form factor as the 18650 tube mods keep falling out of my pockets especially when entering and exiting cars, meanwhile when in 18350 mode they do not so really I need something shorter. I only use KFL+'s so the VTR was not an option unless modded, even then it is one overly heavy beast and the finishes are just plain ugly to me. I don't go above 12w on any of my vamo's and they have been pretty good to me, only requiring fire button replacements for which fry's sells a 10 pack for $6. Even if one does fail I have backups and what is $30 for a new vamo I can get at anywhere. Between the reported issues, delay's, and the huge amount of unknowns, I am really unsure if I even WANT one at this point let alone need one.

Have you looked at the Hcigar Hana Modz Mini clone? It's out, getting good reviews, and I haven't read a single report about any failure with them yet.

And unlike some other clone makers, Hcigar has actually decided to use their logo on the box rather than the Hana Modz logo.

If you don't mind plastic, check out this build!!

Thanks this was a great idea :)
Still able to charge the mobile phone and the batteries in one.

Found these on ebay
Dual USB 5V 1A 2A Mobile Power Bank 5X 18650 Battery Charger Box for Phone Pad | eBay
DIY Kit Dual USB 5V 1A 2A Mobile Power Bank 18650 Battery Charger Box for Phone | eBay

Plenty of room so I still can use 3 x 18650, just wonder how sturdy the plastic are especially with a heavy Kayfun on top.
But cheap enough to try out.

Going to spray paint them with a nicer color if it works.

apparently this is not the normal (using the HCigar logo instead) but it is an option you can elect to go with

I like that the door is cut like the v3

I see a lot of people are going to cancel there orders and here is my take. Check and see what warranty these will have! No one wants to get stuck with a $70 Aluminum case so make sure the place your getting your Clone is willing to cover you at least a Year with a defect warranty on full parts and repair!!!
If your not being offered at least that then even the Manufacture or the vendor does not feel safe with these units! Demand a one year parts and labor warranty and if you are not offered that then cancel your order.
Warranty's are ways sellers and manufactures stand behind what they sell so ask your sellers if there willing to stand behind these Clones and if there not then that will tell you what they think of them.

Protect your $70 investment by asking now and not after getting your order when its too late... :)
if you force them to carry a warranty then you force the manufacture to make a better product.

I dont see a warranty for any of em, stated or implied.
Yeah I never did but then they should post "This Item has no warranty and buy at your own risk" to protect them self.

Sounds like a night mare for these vendors selling this mod for 70 bucks....that is pretty close to their cost for these units
Maybe but they need to say that there is no warranty so buyers know what there getting into. I have seen co-op's for these under $50 so its not much but remember the prices out now are Pre-Order prices and these will go up once in stock.

I checked vendor's warranty on 14 vendors last week....suffice it to say you might want to check your vendor's warranty/return policy....
