Why would a manufacturer build a unit designed around a lipo and allow the option of an 18650? I f I were the MFG I would ditch the dangerous lipo all together
My dz has a lipo and it seems to be working swell. But it is a 5600 mah and a turnigy.
My db has a lipo also. No problems at all and the battery life is great. I just plugged it in for a charge for the first time since Wednesday night. My vtr would have gone through at least four 2100 mah 18650s in that time.

Lol, lipos are just as dangerous as li-ion batteries. If you're that scared of them you should look into lifepo4 batteries.
5600 mah LiPo? The hana clone are offering 2400 mah only. Will the turnigy battery fit in the Hana box? If only the clone packed in 5600 mah battery as the Dz

i wouldn't count on it being first come first serve, the whole joke is the "They assured us that we will be first to receive the units due to our volume" line was word for word what clouper said to elev8vape according to there updates, i wouldn't put it past them if they told that to all the vendors. what i dont get is if you were gonna suddenly do a sample run with the vendors before sending it out why wait til now? should have offered it a week ago, or why even send out samples if you supposedly tested it 100,000 times as they said. to me this says there behind on manufacturing units for all the orders they received and there basically buying time to meet the demand. so instead of risking losing the accounts for not meeting a deadline and saving face for future business they made an excuse about "mass producing dangers" and wanting to check for quality control before sending entire shipment.
if they had all the units ready for shipment and were confident in there product, they would already be shipped with a note attached that says " NO GIVESIES BACKSIES"
I kinda got the same feeling from that as well. I my mind it seems like possibly more of something to buy time then to try to do q and a or quality control. I am actually afraid that since they sold such a huge number of preorders. That they will be a lot further behind then any of us would think. I mean why did it he take so long to even send a video of a single one working at all? I hope I am wrong but I have bad feeling about serious future delays.

Iirc reading you had bought both incase there was some difference. If you don't want 2 and you prefer the logo I personally would cancel the logo one and spend that money elsewhere. But that's just me. I doubt logo will arrive before the other knowing they are made by same people. I don't even think cloupor is offering anything with lipo's anymore from my research. But that's just my opinion.

I agree, dont need any proof of a sample being sent to establish legitimacy of the deal as a whole.

Personally I think its amazing on elev8's part to keep us so informed. They have responded to all questions/concerns and have been keeping all of us informed throughout the entire wait.
Take a stroll over to the SSVape Hana preorder thread and read a few posts from the hundreds of pages to see an example of how poorly a preorder can be handled.
At this point I'd be happy to receive a box with an IOU inside as long as the 510 connection is straight and all my devices screw onto it.

I am just still wondering why a Demo sample was not already sent to the venders for inspection! I am sure all the venders or at least the top 3 made big orders and those were made blindly based just on faith so they should have been given something from the start. Humm
I can't imagine being a vendor, and undertaking the risk of this product, tbh.

It will make or break elev8vape, they'll either blow up like they have been since this started or lose a lot of money and probably be done.
Does anyone know if Mini versions have been cloned as well or if there's plans of it?
