Why the VTC5? There are many batteries that are even more capable. The new Efest 35A batteries give 5A of headroom over the VTC5 with only a 100mah drop in capacity.

That was early speculation for all the clones... Maybe illvapes didn't ammend it? Without soldering I don't see how you can possibly switch to a 18650 from a lipo... Maybe contact them? I see ZERO reason for elev8vape would lie, they aren't selling a logo version and the pre-order for that is over...

None of them come with batteries none, they don't come with lipos it's all the same product one has a logo one doesn't the ....ty part is illvapes was selling the logo one as a better clone.

Yep they even confirmed it via email and said that the only difference between the 2 is the logo and we know now that the no logo doesn't come with a battery and therefore the other "logo" version wouldn't either. They just have not changed there description probably because they know they will get hit with lots of people wondering what happened and they will get the same thing when people receive it and find out it's the same as the no logo and they paid $40 for a logo lol.

The zombie green is a little more faint then seahawks green and i am a seahawks fan russell wilson pitched for my home towns aa baseball team the gaston grizzlies i have a bobble head doll too. But i do get what you're saying about the supply and demand. Im not taking anything away from the hana or the zen or a mamu mod. I would like to have all of then but in my opinion the dz is the creme of the crop when it comes to price and battery life and quality.

BTW Mamu has quit the mod biz. I had been stalking her forum for quite a while and never managed to get one either. My friend owns Shanmods and I couldn't even get her to sneak me in line!

I'm a military electronics tech and also noticed that ESD wristband wasn't connected to the bench or anything. Little concerned about that blue plastic bin containing a bunch of loose chips also.

The blue bin is not full of chips. It appears to be die cut plexi with the protective anti scratch paper not removed. In front of her left hand you can see some of the same 'chips' with the backing removed and it appears they are slotted or milled to accept the OLED screen which I would bet is what the hot glue is for(attaching the screen to the plexi window/holder) You can see the clear plastic tray in front of each worker with the chips each in there own indent.

That is messed up! $40 for a logo. Did you notice the logo pre order is closed on their site, but they put them up on ebay ( says over 10 available) for $119.99!! I think that is f-d up! This thread probably ruined the logo sales so they closed it and are getting $10 more from ebay impulse buys. Plus they have 2 user names and 2 posts! I'm all for making profit, but don't like tricking people to gain a buck. Happy I ordered from Elev8. I would cancel and just get the no logo. Still available and I'm sure will all get within days of each other. Good luck!

About 14 days ago I was on ebay shopping for Fogger v4, and I did noticed Illvapes was selling the "Logo version." @ $109 There was only a red unit available at the specific moment. If I have to take a wild guess, they are selling the units that were canceled from their main shop and that seems like a logical explanation to me.

I'm not defending Illvapes by any means, as this will my first purchased with them. I view Illvapes as a legitimate vendor, why would they put them in a bad predicament is beyond comprehension. As for the $40 differences in price, I select the Logo version for the LiPo and 18650's housing if you will; the printed logo is a minor factor to me.
