I did receive a similar email but from a different vendor stating delays due to issues.

Status Update for anaH presale


Just a quick update on the current status of the presale and expected ship times. We have been in contact with the manufacturer (Cloupor) regularly and they have informed us that there is a delay in the shipments of the new mod. The reason for the delay is due to feedback from some samples that went out. They are working to rectify an issue with the resistance (ohms) reading of the device and a couple of minor things that were noticed.


Cloupor has stated that this will delay all shipments by 7 - 14 days for all vendors. This means that our shipment will be expected to ship to us in one to two weeks, toward the end of this month. We thank you for your patience and understanding. We will provide further updates if any of the details change.

It just occurred to me, what if Cloupor gets all the bugs out and then decides to up the price per unit. The US vendors can't come back to us and ask for more money, can they?

I spend more than 24 hours away from home, with limited access to an electrical outlet, a couple times each month. So, the ability to change batteries is important to me.

Plus, I like to keep my batteries in a rotation. I do not have to keep track of how many times each individual battery has been charged because, each battery has been charged the same number of times.

Knowing that this device is aluminum, I will be careful not to over tighten the screws. My SiD is aluminum and I do not notice any change in the threading after 4+ months of use.

There are certainly exceptions to the rule.

Most people, however, are not away from a power port for so long that they simply must change batteries.

Anyone else notice there's a SECOND BATCH pre-order up on elev8?

I dont't know, I wish they would have waited until at least some of us recieved the first batch. gives me a skeptical feeling, which I usually totally am not (to a fault sometimes)

Manufacturing things to spec takes time.

You people need to chill out. They will get here when they get here. At most we're looking at two weeks after the original delivery date. That's not too bad for a pre-order which specifically specified that the date wasn't set in stone.

My first post showing concern for us, and I need to chill, okay Mr. LaidBack no worries.. I'm sure Cloupor ,by now anyways, can give at least a rough ship date.

Talking about Elev8, I don't recall them stating 7-14 days on the e-mail.. I believe it said any day now.. Anyhow, as the e-mail asked I am remaining calm, it's just that this 2nd batch thing seemed weird to me, that's all, especially since Cloupor has yet to ship the initial 1st batch orders..
Elev8 has done a fantastic job keeping us in the loop.. props for that.. just wish they would have told people wanting to order to be patient and let us get the 1st batch in first and verify that the mod is up to par.. then do a 2nd batch. No harm in that ay

I think they were just bugged when they sold out and want please people. Maybe that is why illvapes has two separate batches coming at separate dates, they already exceeded the first order...
