How well do you know Elev8? You speak as if you personally know the guy. Just reporting back what I saw no need for anyone to calm down.
People are getting skipped that's a fact. no matter what you say and that's bad business.. They should have gone by order date not "oh man you don't have my color just send me the guy's mod that ordered before me"

I know Elev8 just as well as anyone else who ordered from them. And yes everybody is impatient, like they're the only customer they have, and Arlind does make you feel that way, but unfortunately there thousands of orders. You'll get yours like everyone else. Things happen. Oh well, life goes on.
You'd swear that since this pre-order started everyone's mods just magically disappeared and this cna is all you have to vape on

Well I did order green originally. I switched my color to silver after hearing about the green giving them problems. My order no was low in round 1 so the fact that they told me that they would send mine out in the next shipment is fair. It's not like I cut in line! I ordered a lot earlier than most people receiving there black ones. Again, my order no was 313

What watts are you vaping at? I just put in a twisted 30 gauge 1.2ohm micro coil in mine, 15.5watts seems lovely with this Honey Badger juice

with my kayfun at 1.2, i've been vaping at 15-16, same range as you i'm assuming. (perfect). How is twisted wire? I have yet to dive into crazy builds, i'm a pretty simple guy :p Micro coils with cotton is my thing. I have done a dual parallel coil on my dripper, but immediately took it out when I got the chana (.2 probably isn't the smartest for this device! lol)

I also wonder what charging algorithm these USB boards are using. I can't imagine it being as good as an efest, or xtar charger. If it's not, in the long run, this won't be good for the battery's performance and life. With that said, I don't know if the screws would last longer than the USB board.

USB charging seems to be a common theme now for mods, but I'm beginning to doubt if anyone understands the algorithm in these units.

I certainly do not know anything about the algorithms used. But I am definitely open to hearing what people have to say about charging via the usb. I just don't want it to fry the chip or something stupid. I unfortunately forgot my intellicharger at home and I will be away for 7-8 days. So I guess I will report back if my unit blows up or something! :p With that said, at least I still have another unit on the way from illvapes (not actually on the way, but soon to be)

I've been following all of these threads from the start and really could not believe some of these people were actually adults. They were more like kids asking are they hear... How long... How about now... And it's funny how much their outlook on this thing has changed once they have mod in hand. So I think they at least have to understand people's impatience as much as anybody and not take the hay just wait attitude because when you do that it's kinda hypocritical. Not calling anyone out. Just saying a few of you should feel people's pain because one thing for sure is your comments on the net are still on there !

It's not crazy lol its still a standard micro coil just makes a lower gauge wire basically allows more surface area than a 30 gauge coil at the same resistance. I do like it though! My most involved build was a triple twisted 30 gauge parallel coil in my omega, I couldn't stop dripping ate up my juice so quick. I get the best vape for me with a regular micro coil, either twisted or single.

I'll definitely have to try it out, i'll check out some youtube vids n' see how to do it right :p I love my regular micro coils, but its worth a shot!

Nice one JuicerJ, It's funny how many people say "chill out" yet a few days ago they were in our shoes checking this very same thread all day everyday. A little understanding would be nice instead of calling people "little girls" , "entitled" and what not..

I still check and participate in this thread and not once did I ever moan and complain it's not here yet. I expressed my excitement and relayed any new developments I had found. And I am not the only one to understand how a pre-order works. It does suck waiting for something you want as badly as we all want this clone, but it in no way is the fault of any vendor (except illvapes :p). And even before the samples were shipped I expressed that maybe a pre-order isn't the way to go for some people. No one forced anyone to place a pre-order and every vendor had a disclaimer specific to the ETA. So yes everybody has been/is in your shoes, yet not everyone is moaning about them not in hand yet.

I do hope everyone gets theirs soon, so I can stop the addiction that is this thread.

I've been using my kayfun at .7 and was going to rebuild it to a 1.2 once my box gets here.

Just wondering if anyone knew of any comprehensive user guides for the dna30 devices. Stuff like how the settings work or what wattage to run your atomizers at. Thanks in advance

Sent from my shoes using Tapdance

It comes with instructions. Also Google volatage/wattage chart for a rough guide to what works best at a particular level

Vape. To. Taste.

With a 1.2Ω coil start at about 12W and move on up until you find what you like. There is no proper range or setting for a particular resistance. If you like it, Vape it. Base it on your taste.

A 1.2ohm coil will read as 1.1 on the cna, won't regulate below 14w. But I do agree with vape to taste, if you like it vape it, the chart was only meant to give an idea of where to start, it is in no way a strict guide.
